Nothing Short of a Disaster

When it comes to newborns, hospitals already have a robust system set in place. That said, the hospital that George and Cynthia chose was the cream of the crop. There was no doubt in their mind as to how their baby will be cared for there.

Or so they have thought.

"What are you doing?" Cynthia hissed with a sharp tone that wiped the smile off of the nurse's face. The woman had just come back from screening the newborn for hearing loss, it was a standard procedure that was both easy and painless. She was giving the baby to Cynthia when the latter snapped at her.

George and Cynthia's in laws wondered what was wrong with Cynthia.

"A-Are you perhaps in need of some more alone time?" The nurse stammered when a set of two emerald green eyes gave her a murderous look.

"Get out,"

"E-Excuse me?"
