27. The dating application

The weekend was indeed a tiring day for Sari and her friends who have to serve their salon's loyal customers more quickly. weekends, a holiday for most working people, have become combat days for beauty salon workers like them.

On holidays, people will take the time to pamper themselves at the salon.

"Ah, so tired." Sari complained, after taking a sip of the cold tea from the small bottle.

Yes, for almost three months Sari has felt less enthusiastic about work. However, out of necessity and remembering her mother's face in the village, forced her to remain strong and enthusiastic about doing this work.

Sari holidays are quite annoying days for her, she feels lonely in the dormitory alone, since Ica and Wati already have boyfriends, plus Dita, who is required by her older sister to stay at her house every day off.

She couldn't help but have to go through the holiday with reluctance, it can't be helped, Sari is the type of woman who isn't easy to get along with, someone else has to talk to her first before she dares to start a conversation with person.

The morning sunlight greeted Sari through a caress that penetrated the small gaps above the bedroom window, forcing her to open her eyes to welcome the warmth of the sun.

She lazily slowly opened her eyes, and rubbed her face to block out the dazzling sunlight.

Reluctant to get out of bed, she just shifted so her face wouldn't be touched by the morning light again. Lazily hugged her favorite bolster pillow.

"It's lazy, at least the other friends haven't woken up yet," she muttered, staring blankly at the corner of her room.

She doesn't want to leave the room, as long as Ica and Wati haven't left the dorm. While Dita had not come home from work since yesterday, she went straight to her sister's house.

Sari doesn't hate her friends who always have their own dates on holidays, it's just that she doesn't want to feel sad when she sees her friends who are excited when they want to go on a date and that of course leaves her alone and lonely.

Sadly .. until her eyes unknowingly closed again. Lazily her hugging the pillow and still wrapped in a soft blanket.

"Sari.. I'm going." Ica's scream sounded faintly into her room, as if it was impossible to wake her sleeping.

Tok..tok..tok

door knocking sound.

"Sari… Sari…" Wati called out to her best friend, but there was no answer from Sari's room.

"It's not usually she hasn't slept much." Murmured Wati in front of the room.

Tit..tit.. the sound of a car horn calling Wati.

"Duh.. he has come, Sari, I'll go first." shouted Wati who rushed to the car that was waiting for her in front of the dorm.

ring...tring...

ring...tring...

The ringing of Sari's cell phone managed to wake her up, she grabbed the phone on the table beside her sleeping.

"mom." Sari said slowly looking at her cellphone.

"Sari.." called her mom on the phone.

"Yes mom." Sari's voice was a little hoarse.

"Are you sick, your voice is not pleasant to hear?"

"No', because I just woke up."

"Just woke up!! What time is it my virgin child, Sari," shouted Sari's mom from the other side?

" Yesterday, the salon guests were very crowded, so I felt more tired, so today I just wanted to sleep."

"Yeah.. but it's almost one o'clock in the afternoon, you haven't eaten, right?" Her mom said.

"Yes, after this I will buy food. I will buy ready-to-eat food." replied Sari.

"Yes.. take care of your health, so you can continue to work. So that we can buy a house in the village and we don't have to ride with your mom's sister home anymore." Said her mom.

"Yeah, I know, I'm going to take a shower first."

Sari turned off the phone while taking a deep breath hearing her mother's words just now.

grabbed her pink sweater hanging on the wall, she didn't forget to brush her hair which was still wet. And wearing house pants below the knee, wearing a mask covering half of her face so that it doesn't hurt too much to feel the hot sun that is peaking in this tropical area.

Walking down the hot asphalt unaccompanied by anyone, she stopped her steps in front of a Padang restaurant with a mainstay of rendang meat menu.

"Sir.. one package of rice, use grilled fish as a side dish." asked her to the Padang rice seller.

"Please wait for a moment, yes." asked the seller.

because the seller was busy finishing a few packets of rice, she chose to sit in the corner of the shop, coincidentally the lunch hour had passed so it wasn't too crowded so it was quite comfortable for her to sit there alone.

Beside Sari were two teenage girls eating and chatting.

"Eh, so what, have you met the guy?"

"It's been last night, he looks pretty good."

"Oh yeah, then you're interested in him or not?"

"Emm… there's a sense of interest, 60 percent hehe."

"You just try to have a walk first and get to know him better, who knows you're a good fit!"

"You're right.. I'm tired of being single all the time."

"Yeah, who knows, you'll get along with that guy and get a fiancé like me."

"Yeah, but what if I don't get along with him?"

"Yes, you're looking for another man, in that application. There are still a lot of guys looking for girlfriends."

"Yes, yes, it's also fun to find guys in this application."

The conversation between the two teenagers was heard by Sari, who just sat there doing nothing because she didn't have her cell phone with her.

"Here, your order of rice," said the seller to Sari.

"Oh yes thank you." Sari paid for her food with a single bill and left immediately because her stomach was already screaming for rations.

"Finally full," said Sari, looking at the rice wrapper, which was already slippery without leaving a single grain of rice.

Not wanting to feel lonely, Sari turned on the television in the dorm room. While changing tv channels, none of the tv shows are interesting to watch.

"It's really sad that there are no interesting tv shows." She pressed the red button on the remote and threw the remote on the fur carpet in the tv room.

Sari chose to lie on her single bed and grabbed her cell phone.

"What was that, an online application?" she remembered the words of the two teenagers earlier.

She is now focused on her cellphone, looking for information about the application. Without further ado, Sari immediately installed the application on her cellphone.

"I'll give it a try, I'm curious." Said Sari.

her face still looks confused about how to play this new application she saw.

"What do you mean?" Sari grumbled annoyed.

after fiddling with the contents of the top application, she finally understands. she immediately uploaded a photo of herself, but didn't want to seem too looking for a date, so she posted a photo of herself facing to the side and her face was not visible at all and gave the impression of being curicurious to another.

Don't forget she wrote her name there, but she didn't write down Sari, but Sasa.

"Okay. it's ready, wait a moment in case someone invites me to chit chat."

Now she leaves her cell phone on the bed, while she is busy taking care of her hair with hair vitamins. until she realized that the application had received several messages.

"How come there are so many inbox messages," Sari was surprised to see a red mark on the application.

Not wanting to be curious, Sari opened the messages one by one. And really! the content of the messages on average irritates her because most of them send unsightly pictures, internet porn violence sucks!

"It's so annoying… no man lives up to my expectations.`` She threw the cell phone back on the bed, and continued her preoccupation with straightening her hair with the flat heater.

"Are all men in this world born as jerks?"
