Chapter-36: The Mission is Finished! A Date With Sajuna

It has been 3 days since Scorpio attacked the city. The city had started with reconstruction work.
The Cassell Agency and Tendo Agency were rewarded for the feat of killing Scorpio. Their ranks moved up even more, they were top 10 in the Global IP rank leaderboard for they were the third in history to take down a Level 5 Gastrea.
In the meantime, Ren and the group decided to take in all of the Cursed Children all over the city, and Japan, and even created a school for them, creating some kind of annex connected to the Cassell Agency building, the school and the apartment building dedicated to Cassell Agency staff and Cursed Children with their families, which were all beside each other.
Cassell Agency expanded too, they gained over a hundred new staff members that were screened carefully, and of course, Mister Matsuzaki was among them as the caretaker of the Cursed Children without family and the principal of the Cursed Children's school.
""Onii-chan!"" A horde of little girls with red eyes swarmed Ren the very moments he had entered, holding boxes of sweets.
"Hey you all! Ah! That tickles!" Ren had a huge smile as he maneuvered around the swarm.
"Who wants sweets?" Ren asked the swarm around him as he raised the boxes of sweets.
"Me!" "No me!" "Mememe!" The children became hyper as they raised their hands to reach the boxes of sweets, some even climbing on Ren's back.
"Hahaha! There is enough for everybody! Settle down!" Ren said as he led the swarm of children to a table. He set down the boxes of sweets and opened them, the children started grabbing a piece each as they start chomping down on the sweets.
"Here's the juice to quench your thirst" Mr. Matsuzaki appeared from a door, carrying a tray with a jug of orange juice and water with cups wearing a yellow apron.
Mr. Matsuzaki set down the tray and everyone grabbed a cup for themselves.
"Thanks Matsuzaki, now children, what do you say?" Ren thanked the old man and prompted the children to thank him too.
""Thank you Mister Matsuzaki!""
"Oh it's nothing" Mr. Matsuzaki kept a kind and tender smile on his aged face.
After eating all the sweets, the children redirected their focus to playing with each other once more as Ren and Mr. Matsuzaki sat with each other, they were discussing about the gratitude that Mr. Matsuzaki has for Ren because he changed the children's life for the better and accepted them.
"Once again, I thank you for giving them a normal life Kato-san" Mr. Matsuzaki turned to Ren and prostrated himself and bowed until his forehead hit the ground, showing the utmost respect he has for Ren.
"Oh please stand up! It is normal for me to want to give them a normal and happy life, these children were pitiful but still so bright, illuminating such a dark world" Ren said while holding the shoulders of the old man.
—Sniffle! Sniffle!
Mr. Matsuzaki started tearing up and sobbing. His body trembled while sobbing with a smile on his face, crying out of pure happiness.
Ren just patted his back with a comforting smile, the sounds that can be heard is children playing and sniffles and sobs from Mr. Matsuzaki.

[Ren: So the mission is finished huh? Isn't the time in our worlds like stopped right now?]
[Toka: Yeah, all except for Lucien's, the time in our worlds stopped]
[Ren: Ah~ Ok, Lucien what are you currently doing in your world?]
[Lucien: Me? I've just escaped from my birth city because I learned magic, currently heading for a floating city from a kingdom that allows magic]
[Kanesada: Seems like you're pretty productive huh?]
[Lucien: Yep yep! Tired as hell though 0_0! I've been on the run]
Ren chuckled to himself as he chatted with the other members a bit more and eventually went offline. Sajuna told him yesterday to go on a date with her, Ren agreed easily so now he is getting ready for that date.
"Whew, thanks Aoi-mama for giving me a good sense of fashion unlike dad" Ren said to himself as he observed himself in the mirror.
He was wearing a black turtleneck sweater, which accentuated his toned and chiseled body, black slacks, leather shoes and to top it all off, a long tan overcoat that was not buttoned, because of his body frame that was lean and tall, he looked very good in it.
Ren left the house after he was satisfied with his clothes. He set out to reach a plaza in the middle of busy Tokyo. Once Ren had reached the plaza, he looked around to find Sajuna.
When Ren spotted Sajuna he was mesmerized, she was wearing a navy blue sailor fuku with a matching navy blue sailor beret cap, she had her hair on twintails and carried a small bag in her bag.
"Hooi! Reenn-kuun! I'm here!!" Sajuna waved and shouted as she saw Ren looking at her.
Ren smiled and waved a bit as he walked towards Sajuna.
"Oh my gosh! You look.. c-cool!!" Sajuna said with stars in her eyes.
"You like it? Now, shall we start our date?"
"Yes! Where do you want to go first?"
Men usually planned dates and stuff, but both of them coordinated about the places where they both wanted to go and created a diagram of all the places mentioned.
"Let's go to the famous Tokyo snack alley first shall we?" Ren offered to Sajuna.
"Sounds good!" Sajuna said as they headed to the snack alley.
The destination was just a 5-minute walk, once they arrived, they saw the spectacle of an alley littered with all kinds of vendors selling Takoyaki, Apple candied haws, and many other more!
""Woooah!"" Both of them marveled the same as they started buying and eating many traditional Japanese snacks.
"Look at that Ren-kun! Dorayaki! Let's try that!"
"Ahhh~! Candied Apple tastes so good!" Sajuna pointed and ate tons of various traditional Japanese snacks.
When it reached nighttime, they went to a fireworks display for the feat of defeating Scorpio a few days before, establishing that day as a national holiday. Now the fireworks are ready and Ren and Sajuna waited.
