Chapter-51: Conversing with Rias and the First Combat Test of Freedom! [1]

3rd POV | Seekvaira's office |
The three were talking to each other as Alivian served them tea...
"Ooh! You helped Seekvaira-chan create the Voiture Lumiere system?! I can't believe it!" Rias expressed her shock at the revelation as she shakily lowered her cup onto the holder.
"The sci-fi fantasy engine really?! Even in our current technology, we can't make something that advanced with magic!" Rias' eyes widened as she processed the magnitude that Ren has accomplished.
"Yes, and as I said, we have already had it's first test flight" Seekvaira said confidently and pridefully as she sipped her tea.
Rias was speechless of her childhood friend's show of accomplishments...
"And you said that you flew it on the human world's orbit? What if you were seen?" Rias hastily asked.
"Don't worry, I cast an invisibility barrier around so we weren't seen by any satellites" Seekvaira said as a matter of fact.
"And even if we were found, the leaders of the country that owned the satellite that saw us, will wipe it clean"
Rias just relented and smiled, "You always have precautions against these things.." She was right, Seekvaira was rational and smart, so whenever she's gonna do something, she makes a plan first.
"So did you two like take turns?" Rias asked a crucial question as she once more took a sip of her tea.
"Nope, we rode together in on seat, I was on his lap the whole time" Seekvaira said a very crazy thing with a casual attitude.
"PFFFFFT!!!" Rias turned her head to the side and let out a spurt of tea that she was drinking.
"YOU WHAT?! IN HIS LAP?!" Rias had a double-take as she mechanically turned to Seekvaira after hearing the crazy shit that she'd just heard.
"We took a combined test flight, and there was no more space to put another seat, so I just sat in his lap because we wanted to experience piloting the Gundam.."
"Ahem! Ahem! Ahem! He's a guy, and you're a girl, can't you see anything wrong with that?!" Rias started blushing at the boldness of her childhood friend.
"I can see, but there was no choice" The glint of her glasses hid the expression of her face, but her cheeks has a stain of crimson, revealing her inner feelings ever so slightly.
"So you resorted to that?!" Rias' voice weakened as the blush on her face spread to her ears due to the situation that Seekvaira explained..
"Yes, nothing we can do here.." Seekvaira finished her sentence while she sipped on her tea.

The three of them conversed for a while, and after 30 minutes of talking about different topics, Rias finally went back home and left Ren and Seekvaira alone as Alivian escorted Rias out..
Ren was just about to talk to Seekvaira, but then, a holographic panel appeared in front of both of them. They exchanged eye contact and then immediately looked at the contents of the panel.

[Ren: Can me and Seekvaira take it? We wanna test the new Gundam Prototype on a Combat Test flight]
[Kanesada: Sure, why not?]
[Lucien: I'm still busy so yeah!]
[Sajuna: You're gonna take it on a combat test flight?! That's great!]
[Ren: Okay! Anyone disagreeing?]
[Toka: Nope]
Everybody chatted in the chat group except Koko, because she was fighting for her life, right now. Nobody disagreed about them taking this mission to do a combat test flight, so the two immediately went to their locker rooms and equipped their bodysuit that can resist and prevent G-force.
"I'm booting up the system!" Seekvaira said as they both took a seat at the one gravity chair and Seekvaira was once again sitting at his lap.
"All controls are okay! We're ready for take off!" Ren moved the joysticks and pressed the pedals and declared that everything in the controls were working.
"I've opened the hangar door!" Seekvaira said as she clicked the interface in her holographic console that controls the hangar door.
—Vmmm! Ching!
The hangar door opener fully as the Ren piloted Freedom to take on with a low stance like the Gundam is a track runner prepared to run.
"Voiture Lumiere Engine is online, the XR-50 Gundam Ballistic Armament is ready and loaded! All systems are online" Seekvaira completed her checks as Ren readied to blitz out of the hangar to the sky.
"We're taking off.." Ren calmly said as he controlled the joysticks and pressed the pedals, the wings of light becoming bigger as in each second.
—Vhooom! Boom!
A Sonic boom sounded as Freedom left a trail of green and blue light, going in speeds reaching mach 6-7.
"System, accept the emergency member mission!"
[Affirmative]
Ren saw a pop-up that appeared in his retina for a few moments before vanishing once more.
Soon, the Gundam was enveloped in a large teleportation circle and vanished mid-air, only leaving behind a few specks of light that soon promptly vanished, leaving no traces of existence..

"Lehm, take out that helicopter that's approaching!" Valmet shouted over to her teammate.
"Aye, Aye!" Lehm took out an rpg and aimed it towards the helicopter where pirates disembarked and squeezed the trigger shortly after.
The rpg sprouted out trails of fire as the rocket it it's target and destroyed the black hawk helicopter.
The helicopter fell to the sea right next to the ship as the armed pirates watched. The pirates raised their rifles and even heavy machine guns and aimed it at Lehm, who was at a balcony.
—Dadadadada! Brrrrt! Brrt! Bang! Bang!
Lehm immediately ducked down and hid behind the metal railing.
"I'm pinned! Lutz, get your ass in here and cover me with sniper fire!" Lehm shouted at another teamate of theirs who was in the higher floors.
It seemed like the situation is very grave and is not going well...
