3rd POV | Forest Near Kamado Family House |
"As slippery as your husband, like a snake huh? And I've got a question.." Ren said as he flicked his sword and made the blade face Satsuki.
"Tell me, and that's the last answer you will ever hear, I admit that you have some skill but I still haven't used my full power yet.." Satsuki sneered as she activated another Blood Demon Art of hers,
Ren observed her Blood Demon Art being activated as he continued on, "How did you retain your memories? As far as I know, every demon turned will lose their memories.."
"Ahh! It was because of my deep love! My love has reached to such level that it had ingrained itself on my very soul! Ahhh~!" Satsuki maniacally moaned as red blush spread across her cheeks with a wide smile.
Ren got it, basically, Yanderes have such a deep obsessive love that they'll remember their past lives even if they're turned into demons by Muzan. No matter, he'll finish this and then sleep..
—Swish! Clang! Clang! Shiiiiii!
Ren rushed at her and did a left slash, Satsuki blocked his attack straight on and slid her blade down Ren's blade to try and cut him while disengaging the lock.
—Swish!
Ren jumped back and then swiftly rushed back again with a stab, with Satsuki's agility and reflexes, she twisted her body to the side and launched a counterattack, aiming for Ren's neck.
Ren breathed in deeply as he used his right foot to propel himself in the air, dodging the fast strike that Satsuki launched and then did a horizontal slash mid-air, intending to decapitate her.
—Pshhhh!
The swift and deadly slash hit as a fountain of blood spurted out in a fast wave over the air, an iron-like penetrating the nostrils of Ren.
—Thud! Pshhh! Shick!
Ren landed back behind her as he spun his sword into a reverse grip and stabbed Satsuki in the back..
He pulled his katana out in a quick and fluid motion as he kicked the back of the shins of Satsuki making her kneel down on the grass as she tried to recover from her wounds..
Ren performed a singular thrust utilizing the tip of their blade to strike Satsuki straight in the head, piercing through the skull and through her brain.
"Gaaaaah!!" Satsuki screamed out in pain..
—Shh!
The katana was smoothly drawn out of Satsuki's head as Ren quickly wiped the blood from the katana to prevent further damage to the blade.
Satsuki's body spasmed as blood oozed out of her body, she used the last bit of her strength that she can muster and grabbed her sword.
—Shiing! Chiik!
With one flick of her wrist, Satsuki cut Ren on on his leg, drops of blood dripping down from the cut...
"Hehehe..HAhhaha!..I'm still far too inexperienced huh?" Ren just laughed as he found the situation amusing, he wasn't that cautious against her because he thought he disabled her, he let down his guard which led him to being cut..
"You're dead..!" Satsuki maniacally smiled as she slowly regenerated, she stood up with blood all over her clothes and ragged tears on it.
Ren just smiled as he pretended that the paralysis from the poisoned Blood Demon Art of Satsuki was taking effect..
"You finally succumbed...HeheheHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! MY LOVE, I'M ABOUT TO AVENGE YOU!!" Satsuki walked over slowly to Ren with her chipped blade, she walked menacingly..
Satsuki reached the position in front of Ren and slowly raised her katana above her head with both of her hands..
"Goodbye!" Satsuki sadistically shouted as she lowered her sword, expecting Ren to be cut in half..
—Swooosh!
"You were a great enemy.."
Ren disappeared in place and spiraled into the air whilst performing a swirling slash upwards that struck Satsuki which made her fly up in the air.
—Hisss!!
Ren breathed in deeply again, feeling like his body was on fire and his heart was beating so fast that it might come out of his body. What Ren didn't notice was that a reddish-brown mark that looked like a dragon crawling up to his forehead.
"Haaaah.." Ren let out a hot breath that looked like steam as he readied another technique..
Ren assumed a high stance, before unleashing a number of consecutive slashes in a fluid motion in the form of a Japanese dragon made of solar flames. With the head of the dragon Ren's blade, it opened it's mouth as it roared.
—Graaaaah!
The blade made contact with Satsuki's neck mid air as she was swallowed in the solar dragon's maw.
—Graaaah!
A dragon's roar resounded as Ren cut through Satsuki's neck and the world was in a standstill, the sounds of air breezing through leaves stopped, the sound of air whistling in his ear stopped...like the world was just put on a slow-mo by a press of a button..
—Shiiiing! Ching!
Ren's blade moved smoothly through Satsuki's neck, as Ren put much force into this one blow..
—Whiish! Shwww!
His blade ignited, Satsuki's neck being fully cut through as resounding waves of sonic booms appeared when Ren fully decapitated her, showing the sheer force of power that Ren had to give from just his breathing style alone..
"It's finally...finished..." Ren muttered under his breath as he fell down along with Satsuki, and when Satsuki landed on her feet, her head neatly slid off...
The first rays of sunshine peeking through the horizon creating a beautiful landscape, sunlight peeking over leaves and trees as it reached Satsuki..
"Oh..dear...Did I fail?" Satsuki muttered with tears in her eyes, her head falling down to what seems to be minutes for her when it was just seconds..
Finally, she saw her husband..who looks just like the very first time that they've locked gazes on each other, as beautiful as their days were back then when everything was peaceful..
"{You did not fail..You suffered too much my love, but now, Let's go together this time!}"
She faintly heard the voice of her beloved husband as she replied gleefully, a smile blossoming from her face, "Yes...dear" She closed her eyes and with her hands interlocked with her beloved, she walked to her resting place, Hell, but fret not, for this is not her last chapter..she will be reincarnated..together with her most beloved person in the world—...
—Jiin, her husband...
"This is true love, a love so pure that they will be living and dying together forever.." Ren smiled as he reminisced memories from back then with his father and mothers as he sees Satsuki's body turning into ash and flying to the distant cloudy skies...
He witnessed something beautiful from the end of someone's life, ironic, but that just shows everything has a beautiful side to it, not everything is just bad..there will come a period of time where you will finally find the beautiful side that you were searching for...
"Well then, let's head back, I'm pretty sure they're gonna worry about me when they see me like this.." Ren said as he put his katane back into his Space pocket and held his tattered clothing..
