The skin of the Father Spider demon bubbled and rescinded, melting off and producing a hissing sound. The Father Spider demon's skeletal structure was exposed for a split moment before the red muscles regenerated and the process repeated all over again.
"Gurgle! Graaaughhh!" The Father Spider Demon tried to roar but to no avail. "Graugh! Blub! Blub! blub!" His vocal cords melted and acid overwhelmed his throat.
"Let's go and try to behead his head since, he can't fight back!" Lucien turned to the 8 Demon Slayers behind him. "Y'all need to cut his skull off to kill him off right?"
"Yes, his head must be severed Lucien-sama." One of the male Demon Slayers affirmed him and nodded.
"Then, we'll get closer but not too much, it's still dangerous." Lucien replied as he gestured to the acid moat and the Father Spider demon melting.
The group scurried near the acid moat cautiously..Once the group neared the acid moat, they started slowly stabbing the Father Spider demon's head while he was struggling in the acid pit in an infinite cycle of regeneration.
"Graaagh!" The Father Spider Demon managed to grab a ledge with his hand and was starting to pull himself up.
"Shit!" Lucien cursed when he saw that. "Focus on that hand!" Lucien ordered as he prepared to cast another spell.

"Move!" A blue ray shot out of the magic circle with a glacial intensity, with Spiritual Power turning into the element of Ice.
"Rooooooaaah!" The Father Spider demon roared as the ray trailed over to his arm and eventually his shoulder. Frozen spikes appeared on the areas that was shot by
—Craack! Criiick!
The frozen arm of the Father Spider demon shattered and the arm that was gripping the ledge turned into pieces.
"Whew!" Lucien wiped a sweat that was dripping down his forehead. If the Father Spider demon had managed to get out of the acid, it would've been such a huge trouble and may possibly result in casualties and injuries.
'Thank goodness I wasn't too late..' Lucien cared about the lives of the Demon Slayers that accompanied him as they were willing to give their lives up if needed to for him.
Why were these Demon Slayers loyal to him? Well, Lucien had managed to garner a few fanatic following when they witnessed his sorcery and spells, specifically from the Demon Slayers.
They call Lucien a, "Divine Magus", that takes after the fact that Ren and Lucien was sent by the Japanese pantheon gods. They worship Lucien and respect his sorcery similar to Omnyodo.
"I got it!" A female Demon Slayer cheered and jumped as she managed to cut the Father Spider demon's spine and behead him.
"You did it!" Lucien let out a sigh of relief as he saw the father Spider demon become ashes and get melted by the acid.
His eyes looked resolute once more as he gave orders. "Let's reunite with the others, I'm pretty sure Ren is already finished with his fight." Lucien was right.
And so, they got to moving again, following the sounds of clash and shouting..

"Fire Breathing!: Fourth Form, Enko!" Rengoku dashed forth as the Son Spider demon was in mid air.
"Spraaat!" The Son spider demon let out a high-speed stream of acid from his mouth while he swung his sharp spider leg at Rengoku.
"Hup!" Rengoku did a quick maneuver of stepping on a tree and changing his course while raising a high guard.
—Chiing!
Sparks appeared as the spider leg and Rengoku's Nichirin sword made contact. Then, with another step to another tree he started performing a series of slashes that struck all of the spider Son's legs and then his cheek.
—Chaaa! Splat!
Rengoku's sword hit him right in the nape as a flaming tiger appeared from the formation of slashes that he performed.
"Gaaah!" The spider demon Son let out a cry as he disappeared into ashes.
"Haaah...Nice fight!" Rengoku then sheathed his katana with flame patterns and held his hands together and bowed his head, like praying for him.
"Rengoku-sama! It seems you have taken care of him?" One of the Demon Slayers caught up to Rengoku.
"Yes! Now let's go back and see our comrades!" Rengoku cheerily said with a smile on his face while crossing his arms.
"As you order!" The Demon Slayer member replied formally since the Hashiras were above them in the hierarchy so Rengoku was also his immediate boss.
The two rushed back to where the main force was by the sounds of fighting..
Soon, they found a large force of Demon Slayers battling the remaining low rank demon puppets in the forest. The Hashiras currently with the main force was Sanemi, Tengen, Mitsuri, and Gyomei. Giyuu and Shinobu broke off and is currently fighting other members of the Spider demon family.
"Aha! We're here! Finally!" Rengoku shouted as he watched the Demon Slayers battle and kill the remaining demon puppets.
"Ohh! Rengoku! You're finally back!" Tengen shouted while decapitating a demon puppet behind him casually.
"Hhm! You know I'll be back my besto friendo!" Rengoku closed his eyes and exhaled with a smirk.
Tengen just smiled and gave him a thumbs up..

Hours later..the whole spider demon family was wiped out and the remaining demon puppets were also killed.
Ren flew down from the sky at the designated gathering point of the Demon Slayer Corps which was back at the base of the mountain.
Ren gently landed in front of Kagaya and promptly began to speak. "I confirmed it, there's no more demons in the whole mountain, rest assured."
"Thank you for your hard work, Ren-sama." Kagay bowed along with his wife.
"The Demon Slayers also did a lot of work, and lessened the time, so I thank them and you too" Ren replied back. "Since I know your body is frail with your curse, yet you waited here, you're a brave man." Ren also gave his gratitude to Kagaya.
