Chapter-79: New Bodyguard, Sasumaru..

3rd POV | Cassell Shooting Range |

—Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Ching! Chink!

Gunshots erupted along with the sound of changing magazines moments later. It was Sasumaru who was shooting an M4A1 rifle. She quickly reloaded her magazine with a fast hand.

Her reflexes of a demon's enabled her to be very dexterous and fast, making her really compatible with a gun.

"It's really good that by sending her into another world as I thought, her connection to Muzan was cut off while still maintaining her strength and Blood Arts." Ren commented, watching her performance with a gun.

After Sasumaru was sent into the Black Bullet world, her connection to Muzan was completely severed like Tamayo who got rid of Muzan's control and is out of the Muzan curse.

—Thump!

The M4A1 rifle thumped on the wooden board where it was settled on. Sasumaru looked back at Ren and Sajuna and promptly proceeded to press the button to bring the target closer.

Sasumaru's shot group wasn't bad and was very accurate, she had three shots in the torso perfectly aligned and another three holes in one on the head.

"Not bad!" Ren praised her honestly, it had only been a few weeks and she was this accurate and proficient in guns. It was impressive how fast she adapted to the modern day era of the Black Bullet world.

"You know how to use a mobile phone now?" Sasumaru nodded in reply.

"It's really convenient and you, are really mysterious, for being able to send me to another 'parallel world' as you call it." Sasumaru also astounded over the fact that Ren was able to send her into another world in a blink of an eye.

"Looks like you didn't choose wrong huh?" Ren replied back, reminding her about her choice to follow Ren instead of Muzan.

"You're right, I'm glad to finally be out of his control. Sajuna-san also told me about the things Muzan did, from that moment on, I didn't have any regrets."

"Well he was going to get rid of all the demons once he got the Blue Bana flower, so definitely the better choice." Ren chimed in also.

"Indeed." Sasumaru simply replied.

Ren asked another question to her. "Any more weapons training you wanna show me?" In response to that, Sasumaru just looked at him and then nodded.

The view shifts to an archery range with many targets and a wooden standing platform. Ren and Sajuna stood behind Sasumaru who is standing in front.

With a large Yumi in her hand made out of something like steel and a bowstring made out of a thick steel wire..

Yes, Sasumaru's next martial art that she will display..is Kyujutsu, a Japanese bow style in the ancient eras used by Samurais.

Because she had an incredible strength, cue to the example of her throwing her Temari ball in sonic speeds, Sajuna had ordered her a compound Yumi bow with it's bowstrings as heavy as 50 kilograms by itself and more when drawn.

The arrows had titanium arrowheads and had a titanium body with it. The arrows weighed like, 4-5 kilograms by themselves.

"I half-expected this." Ren commented on the side as he watched her load an arrow on her Yumi. "Since she's very strong."

"Hmp!" Sasumaru used her Blood Art again and she grew several inches taller while her muscles also became bigger.

She drew the bowstring wide with the arrow in her fingers. Her muscles bulged and veins popped with the weight of the Yumi.

—Woooshooo! Phewww! Boom!

The bowstring produced a booming sound as air rippled and waved due to the amount of force the arrow shot out with. The air whistled like something was cutting across the air. The arrow landed on it's mark, an explosion resounded, and the arrow struck the bullseye.

Ren just looked wide eyed while Sajuna just looked at her like she was saying 'That's my girl, I taught her that'.

"How about that?" Sasumaru looked back smugly at the two.

"Nice!" Ren gave her a thumbs-up. "If you're gonna come with me back to your original world, bringing a bow is definitely less inconspicuous than bringing a gun to ancient Japan."

"Of course, I trained her!" Sajuna also chimed in and showing off to Ren.

Ren patted her and rubbed her head. "Yes, that's why I left her in your care." Ren smiled warmly towards his lover.

"Hehehehe!" Sajuna giggled, enjoying the pats Ren gave her. Her eyes turned into crescents, showing how much she enjoyed pats.

"Get ready, we're heading back a few minutes later." Ren turned to Sasumaru and instructed her.

"Aye! Aye! Boss!" Sasumaru saluted as she ran off of the archery range.

Ren and Sasumaru stood side-by-side in the lounge..

Sasumaru carried a black rectangular container on her back and it has yellow lines and markings all over it. That container holds her compound Yumi and all of her arrows. She wore a Yukata with a black main color with yellow accents as well as the golden insignia of the Cassell agency.

The golden insignia was embroidered in the back of her yukata. The insignia bore two huge wings half-enveloping a rapier with a crown of lilies hung on the hilt. The wings symbolized protection, the rapier symbolized elegant aggression towards enemies, and the crown of lilies symbolized the purity of the Cursed Children.

"You got new battle clothes huh?" Ren commented about her wear.

"Benefits of working for you." Sasumaru quipped back, switching to her bodyguard mode.

"Yep.."

"Well then, let's head to Shinobu, we need to tip your arrows with Wisteria poison to make your shots effective." Ren set a goal for them first.

"I'm a demon, I can't go near them, they smell of death" Sasumaru reasoned while staring blankly at Ren.

"Oh, right, I guess I'll be the one taking it to Shinobu then." Ren also realized, while she was out of Muzan's control, she was still a demon afterall, so she can't go near Wisteria.
