Chapter-87: An Intense and Disastrous Fight Between Two Forces of Nature..

—Ching! Bang! Bam! Pshiih!
A series of slashes were masterfully executed. The blue glint of the deadly blade swiping through the air were reflected with a beautiful sharpness. The wind whistled as fast slashes landed on the blocking arms of Akaza.
The slashes were lightning-fast and the angles of the cut were angled perfectly and masterfully. Blood erupted out of the cuts that Ren made. Akaza saw and enacted a counter from where his elbow struck like a piston aimed at Ren's exposed side.
Pshi! Baam! Undeterred, Ren moved like flowing water — A waltz of precision. His blade sliced through Akaza's elbow briskly. The momentum of the blow was veered off course, his tendons and cartilage accurately cut like a scalpel in the hands of a master surgeon.
The pink-haired demon, not caring if he was injured, rallied a knee strike directed to the lower torso of Ren.
—Thud!
Ren retaliated with a knee strike of his own and blocked his opponent's strike. With a show of flexibility, Ren turned his knee and launched a kick along an uncanny accuracy accompanying it. His feet drove into Akaza's ribs, the demon let out a groan as he felt the surge of pain from his ribs being broken.
The demon assailant took a few steps back, regenerating his wounded inner organs which were crushed by the earlier strike. The wounds would not fully heal due to the special properties of Ren's blade being Nichirin.
Akaza entered into his Soryu style low stance. He put his arms subjacent and his fists clenched, his palms facing up. And in a burst of power heading to his heel, he propelled himself into the air several feet high.
With the weight of gravity pulling him down and his built up momentum, Akaza combined both of them and let out a strike downwards towards Ren. His fist twisted and his fist descended.
—BAAM! CRIICK! BOOOM!
The fist of Akaza made contact with the blocking sword of Ren. An invisible ripple started spreading throughout the sword and eventually Ren's whole body and then the ground beneath him.
That invisible was the shock wave that Akaza sent through his fist through a powerful downward strike. The body of Ren vibrated as the earth beneath him began to crumble. The attack created an even bigger pothole than the last one.
The ground also shook with the corresponding damage...
"Not bad!" Ren praised honestly. He kinda felt that one shaking his body but not enough to injure or rupture his organs. Ren then responded in kind by flicking his wrist and his blade began cutting through Akaza's fist easily.
"Guh!" Akaza emitted a cry of pain as another surge of agony washed over him. With a masterful angle and skill, Ren managed to cut through his bone all the way through his arm.
The arm of the pink-haired demon assailant was cut open in half. The muscle was torn along with the bone cut in the middle. It was very gory, the blood, the flesh, and the bone exposed to the air.
Ren disengaged the sword from the bone and continued his relentless fury. His katana zigzagged down through Akaza's exposed torso. The cuts were made with such accuracy, that every single major vein was cut and the tendons shattered.
Akaza was rendered immobile as his body structure collapsed. His knees were like jelly and his body came crashing down to the ground. Despite his face on the ground and in pain, he started laughing heartily.
"FUN! THIS IS FUN! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Akaza was and is a warrior in both heart and soul, he enjoyed fighting, especially ones stronger than him as it gives him the thrill of death.
The veins of Akaza bulged from all parts of his body. His inner body parts regenerated first, then his body started stitching itself together. This feat of healing shows the truly absurd strength of their regeneration.
"Think you can continue to all-out fight?" Ren asked the down demon, looming over him. Drip..drip..the blood of Akaza dripped down the downwards pointed katana.
The crimson blood reflected the pink-haired demon's face, manic and smiling widely like a psychopath, a truly crazed and headstrong demonic persistence welled up inside Akaza's chest.
Akaza planted his uninjured fist unto the ground and used it as a support to push himself up. Within one exertion of force, Akaza managed to push himself to stand straight. Once he stood upright, the light blue snowflake-shaped compass appeared underneath his feet.
Akaza decided to use all of his strength, focus, and skill to survive this duel to the death against an overwhelming force that has the strength like a whole ocean crashing down on him.
"HAHAHAHA! THIS BATTLE! SO MUCH FUN!" The demonic assailant raised his arms once more, in an offensive stance. Ren smiled in response, also entering into his respective defensive stance.
"Come hither as they say, well." Ren invited the demon to attack. Akaza responded in kind by burying his feet as he blitzed in fast speeds, swifter than even the human eye can see.
He reappeared in an afterimage ahead Ren. The moment they entered each other's range, they started exchanging blows. Their movements were unmatched, their skills and attacks accurate and deadly.
Shock waves boomed throughout the area and rumbles appeared like an earthquake. If people were to hear the commotion, they would think of it as a natural disaster occurring.
Akaza seamlessly transferred from punches to kicks, his Soryu style to Destructive Death and each and every strike he made were all attacking the weak points of Ren's defenses but failing to pierce through every time.
Ren's response was a barrage of slashes that emancipated parts of Akaza's body. He coated his blade with Light magic to make the injuries more permanent.
—BAM! SHII!
Ren shifted his sword style into Sun Breathing, this shocked Akaza to a point where he was scrambling for counters in a split second inside his mind. Through years of hardened battle experience and his martial prowess, he managed to barely block attacks from Ren.
