Chapter-90: Muzan Spotted!!
———————————————\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
"Let's go."
I muttered to the silently angry demon girl beside me. I also looked towards the black-haired guy accompanying us, Lucien. I squinted my eyes at him, trying to signal him to speak and break the suffocating tension.
Come on! He didn't even consider it, he just shook his head! His eyes portrayed clearly to me that he won't be helping me with my issue.
Haah...I sighed under my breath. Actions do truly have consequences, I guess I'm reaping the results of my neglect. I forgot about her when I clearly knew about her trust and abandonment issues.
I feel terrible..
Despite the bitterness that I felt, I continued talking. "You're gonna fly there right?" I already knew his answer.
"Yes, no way I'm teleporting through space in the near future, I'm gonna fly there instead." Lucien responded resolutely to my query. He absolutely hates teleportation now, shit, that was my fault.
I take full responsibility for that, I won't pretend I didn't do all of this things because that will just sour my relationship with them. I am mature enough to accept all the terrible things I've done and all I can do is learn from it and move on.
"All right, we'll wait for you to arrive before moving to the place where I located the clue."
After I affirmed Lucien, I immediately activated my skill . Within a single blip of space, we warped to the area I picked to land in. The hard stone floor that we landed on produced a soft thud.
The bright orange lights shone ahead at the entrance of the dark alleyway we warped on. To be less inconspicuous, we decided on this dark alleyway as our entrance point.
"Let's go find that clue." I said to Sasumaru who was behind me. I lead the way, readying myself for any danger we might come across in this trip.
As the bright orange light of the lamps hit my eyes, I saw the rows of lampposts lined across the streets, illuminating the town. The sides of the streets were littered with vendors selling their merchandise to the buzzing crowd walking around.
I took a deep breath, inhaling the different aromas floating around the hectic street. Some smelt appetizing, some smelt unpleasant, I even smelled the faint scent of smoke from the fireplace coming out of the houses.
The myriad fragrances kind of reminded me of the smell back home in the modern cities, though it was fresher in here. We seamlessly blended into the crowd as we began our mission to find the clue that leads us to Muzan, the hiding rat.
Once I find the location of that extradimensional space that he's hiding in, he's done. All I need is just one space tunnel heading into that Infinity Castle, and I can find it's coordinates.
I know that if Muzan sees me anywhere near, he's gonna run away like the Joestars. The moment he pussies out of here, is the moment I can track him down.
I tapped my wooden sandals in the hard stone ground as I spread ripples through space to locate him. It's like a version of echolocation where I can see what the people that was hit by the ripples look like.
The ripples I sent through traveled and reached the far corners of the town. Soon, as the last street was hit, I felt the malevolent aura of a figure in that street. The malevolent figure was walking with a small figure in it's arms and a feminine figure by his side.
"I found him, let's go." I signaled to Sasumaru. We both took off running and eventually jumped into the rooftops for a better view and faster routing.
We leapt from a tiled rooftop to another with great ease. We slid through like wraiths in the night. Once we had reached near our target, we observed him from afar.
"Muzan..I found you, despite being known as a paranoiac, you really don't pay attention to your surroundings." I muttered to myself. Me and Sasumaru were perched atop a tall pavilion, overlooking the discount Michael Jackson walking through the crowd like a normal person.
I don't know what gave us away but he hastily turned to our direction. I suppressed my aura before we came here so I was sure that was not what gave it away. Perhaps — is it scent? Or blood instinct that felt Sasumaru was near?
It doesn't matter, our original plan was to make him run away in the first place, and that's what we're gonna do.
"Sasumaru, once he sees you, he'll be angry, try to lead him somewhere remote and that's where I'll pop up, I trust you will be able to do this?"
"Yes, I'll be able to do it." She replied curtly to me. I can distinctly see her anger based on the cold glare from her eyes and her fists tightening until veins popped.
This is a great chance for her to blow off some steam and hopefully stop being angry at me, by absolutely beating the dog out of Muzan. This'll be good..
"Let's start."
I teleported out of the tiled roof of the pavilion, landing on top of a clock tower farther away. With my [Transparent World] vision, I was able to see from an extreme distance clearly, so I was able to watch Sasumaru's next moves.

"Come here." Sasumaru said as she opened the black container in her back with one motion.
The magnetic locks disengaged and the container opened smoothly. The black casing slid off and revealed a shining and sleek jet-black Yumi with arrows in a quiver. Sasumaru immediately grabbed her weapon and the quiver.
"Go with your mother straight back home, don't stop nor look back." Muzan put his mock daughter down and made her hold his human wife's hand. The two understood his deadly look and walked away in a fast pace.
Muzan blitzed away in blinding speeds as he rocketed towards Sasumaru's position. His fangs drawn and his fingernails turning sharp like blades.
