Finally hatching!
The pokemon egg that our mc found was colored green with a few dark spots in it, seeing this he deduced that its either a Maractus or a Cacturne line pokemon, though he doesn't have a clue what properly do to hatch the pokemon egg he started to rummage his memories about pokemon eggs, first egg would hatch eventually some might take longer, second walking helps the pokemon inside to develop an attachment to the carrier and lastly the incubator helps make the hatch faster than it normally does
"Okay then baby pokemon you'll be my family starting from now on, though i'm not really sure when you're going to hatch i'll keep you beside myself from now on and ill even give you my treasure although they're not much ill give you what i've gotten from the loots i got so that you would be stronger when you hatch"
Our mc kept on talking to the egg even though there wasn't a reply he kept on rambling and rambling while also rummaging the items so that he could put the thorns, flowers and miracle seeds beside the egg, he kept on talking even when he was eating and doing a final training exercise so that when he rests, he will directly go to sleep after, and when finally slept he mumbled "Now i have you as a family… thank you" the egg glowed and shake but that was all
In the next day he woke up and look at the egg smiling "Good morning partner" noticing that the items that he put beside the egg was gone he jump and look at every angle he could after finally calming down he can't stop smiling knowing that his guess was correct he talked to the egg about finding more items for the egg so that it could have more items to absorb and strengthen him
And so, he started his daily training even though he was reluctant to train instead of talking to the egg about its potential and what might happen he kept on moving on and trained he did, so when he was finally done training, he rest a bit while holding the egg in his embrace, he ate the rations that he has and talk about what him and the egg will do after resting which was exploring and gathering items that he could probably use and the items that the egg could absorb
As he was merrily saying they're task for today our mc gathered his items and was ready to set and was about to move forward when a strong presence come and go and this made our mc stop his plans, terrified and scared from the passing pokemon "Okay that was just a passing pokemon, come on we could do this… yes i have to move forward and find something that could help, yes… haaa lets do this!" Our mc then readied and steeled himself and re-entered the desert
[After 5 hours]
"its already night, well the loot this time is unexpectedly good, Better even" the things that he got were thorns of cacnea, cacturne and Maractus horde that was just there and our mc graciously asked the pokemon if he could have them to which the pokemon agreed knowing it wasn't really important, next to what they got was a dead tree… no not the whole tree but like a growing tree but it was dead, next was a dead cubone, which surprise the mc because
It was dead even though it doesn't have any damage to any of its body, surprisingly it wasn't poisoned it was just that, dead no nothing no bruise no scratch it was just that dead, it took our mc to make a decision whether to take it or not and ended with choosing to bringing it with him, as he explores more, he found a group of diglett and of course he goes back after that as it was close to sundown
"Okay eggy its time for you to absorb our loots, though i won't give you the whole lot of it ill give sets of it, and ill also put our loot next to you so i could know what you like and could absorb, and lastly hehe its time for me to eat…" Our mc then did his final training and rested after, the next day "Okay bud it's time for me to look at the other houses! I don't know if there are valuable stuff in it but since we got quite a loot yesterday its time for us to see the two houses"
Our hero then rummages the 2nd house and the 3rd house finding Clothes x4, Pair of Desert sandals, Vase that's as big as a cacnea, pot, cooking utensils, broken knife, machete, big root inside a box, and lastly black glasses "Quite a haul if i say so myself, aint that right eggy" after sorting the items that he found, our mc separated the items that he could use like the cooking utensils, Clothes, Weapons, the vase and lastly the food that he got, including the cubone body
Using the knife our hero he started separating the meat and the innards that he can't eat, and after 2 hours of a very arduous activity he finally finished it, though a little crude because of the stuck meat at the bones, the meat that wasn't cut excellently, some brains and guts that flew out, it was still in the end a finish product, as he put the meat in a cloth and put it under the intense heat, he finally ate with the egg beside him, without knowing the time he sat up and stretch his
Body and started his training like a madman knowing that this little thing could help him to escape and fight if ever need to, as the days past with the routine of Wake-up feed egg Train eat explore rest and eat train then rest and sleep then back to the first one, as the change in his body became more visible and clearly seen to be more mature, he became aware of the dangers, signs and ever so peaceful time in the desert, he became acquainted with the cactus pokemons that
3 groups of them became his friends and sometimes caused an exchange of items that they need and he needs, he became aware of the groups that surrounded him it was the Hippowdon group, the Cacturnes, the Krokorok group, Dugtrio group, Durant nest, the group of trapinch and lastly a group of Camerupt, the Camerupt group could be describe as a moving group since they describe to me that they move
So often (Don't ask me how it just happened) the very main pokemons that mostly hunts were the Durants, Trapinch and Sandile's so every so often the mc finds the bones of the 3 groups, they weren't really useful but he just picks them up in the end, he finds crates that has items surrounding the scope of a box of soft sand, Metal coat, Binding Band, Black Belt and lastly Cleansing Tag, the soft sand items were like i said easy to find in this desert so that's out, the metal coat were a lucky find because there were 2 pieces of them, the blinding band and black belts were in the same crates and lastly the cleansing tag was exchange from one of the cacturne group, the exchange consist of me getting rid of the cleansing tag away from their territory
And i get to get one of Maractus flower, do not by any means consider it was a waste because Maractus flower has an abundant grass type energy and this flower became a nourishment for my eggy for days!! About the egg, it was by his eyes was that it was very healthy and is about to hatch maybe a day or two, it keeps on absorbing items surrounding the Flower, Thorns, Bones and lastly the miracle seeds that he found
"It's finally here! Buddy i'm going to meet you now" Then a bright light started and
i oberserved him and he looks very healthy but at the same time a little bit leaner? And his crown that suppose to be yellow has a little bit of brown and dark green and that's just his crown! His body is like any other cacnea but what's different is… he has claws in a form of Spikes? These spikes are… dense like many spikes squeezed together and he have 2 claws, looking at cacnea he seems a bit hungry? "But before that you have to eat! I don't know what a cactus pokemon eat but what i know is you should like the sun so we should go out"
As i lead my first family to the center of the houses (Houses in a circular formation) he starts to burry himself and then he closes his eyes and starts to absorb heat? How do i know? It's gotten a little bit breezy that's cold? Anyways i put the remaining thorns, flower and soft sand beside him, and the items started to lose their luster to which i know that he was absorbing their energy like when he was an egg
How do i know he's a he? Well, cacnea that were female have a heart shape in any part of their body or their crown is more vibrant and male cacnea has a sharper spikes and deeper green color, and my cacnea does not have any heart shape pattern in him and doesn't have a vibrant color so in conclusion his a he
