So we meet again...

"Ugh! What a mess!"

Luke grabbed his forehead as he looked at the scattered document papers and a few decorations on the floor under the flashlight of his phone. The room was awfully dark since apparently it didn't had any windows.

The rest of the team were waiting outside for Luke to search for a battery lamp in their storage cupboard.

But the office room wasn't this untidy from the beginning.

Apparently, an overconfident member of their team forced her way in to this small room, only to get tripped over her own foot and landing straight onto her forehead. This fool, as anyone would've guessed it, was Ayana who was currently being treated under Isaac's care.

"Tch! Why did it have to be my desk?! I wonder if she's taking revenge..." Luke mumbled as he saw his favourite looney tunes mug shattered into infinite pieces around his desk.

"Don't worry Bugs Bunny, I'll make sure to avenge you someday, *sob*" With a heavy heart filled with revenge, he marched forward towards the dusty old metal cupboard at the corner. He slowly took out his keys and finally unlocked the doors which had been sealed for past three years.

He struggled to keep up with the smoke of dust, but despite coughing vigorously he didn't gave up and finally found that glorious treasure. With a proud smile on his face, he hurried back to his teammates only to get this adventure feeling tarnish into thin shreds.

"What took you so long? Geez! I would've been much faster if I were you."

"Uh, but didn't you tripped over yourself Ayana?"

"Cat's right. You shouldn't brag about things you didn't even accomplished."

"Yeah yeah~"

Unfortunately, nobody took the notice to thank Luke for his hardwork. Instead they simply argued among their own and took away the battery lamp from his hands without even looking at him.

Luke's anger multiplied upon seeing their ignorance and he swore to remain outside forever to teach them a lesson, but being subjected to his fussy behaviour all the time, Issac called him back a while later with a hidden threatening about the secret that only they both knew about.

Left with no choice, Luke returned back with a flustered smile and he secretly pinched Isaac's hand from the back. They played a little in dark until a bright white light made them freeze at their places.

"Ahem! Good to see it's still working." They both coughed at the same time to pretend nothing happened but deep down everyone in the room knew what they were doing all this time.

With a hidden smile, Catherine arranged the table lamp in the centre at a certain height so that everyone could see clearly and they began their work by first cleaning up the mess Ayana had created.

Luke, to tease Ayana a little more started to passively complain about how long it was taking to clean this up because of which, Ayana, who was holding her chuckle a while earlier soon got very angered. 'Is he taking revenge on me for laughing at their mischief a while back? This damn brat!'

She took a small bite of her lip as she constantly heard his complaints indirectly addressed to her. If not for the mistake from her part, she would've already knocked this monkey out. But since that wasn't the case, all she could do was listen to his blabbering while cleaning everything lightning fast. That is until she finally reached her limit.

"I know I made a mistake and I am sorry okay?! Now if you'll stop can we please hurry this up?! I also have to submit our reports at boss's desk!" She yelled and continued.

"I am going to call for a janitor to clean those sharp pieces of mug, until then you, Luke, will pick up all of these papers and files. Understand?" She ordered with a sharp glare on the tip of her pointing finger.

Luke tried to revolt but immediately got muted as Ayana suppressed his voice with her own. "And Issac, I want you to look for a good restaurant (which is also cheap) nearby for this evening. Cat, I want you to help Issac in this. Got it?"

"Ah yes!"

Cat's firm response from both confusion and excitement made Ayana calm herself down. She shared a smirk with the Issac and looked at the jaw-dropped face of Luke who was still kneeling on the floor and surrounded by papers.

With a proud senior feeling, she gracefully closed the door from behind and heard everyone screaming from excitement and joy.

"Oh dear, I hope they'll not leave me broke...but anyway, it's better than getting wasted all alone once again atleast." She whispered to herself and walked down the staircase under the flashlight of her phone.

Because of her heels, she tripped and twisted her ankle almost thrice on her way, but anyhow she managed to find a middle-aged uncle in his cleaning uniform at the ground floor. She greeted Jasmine on her way and soon ended up chatting with her after telling the janitor her office room location.

Much to Ayana's surprise, she came to know how much people were struggling with their work since they all mostly depended on computers. Infact, many have already returned to their home with a paid leave and some have even filed an complaint as how the company is forcing them to work in such situations. Ofcourse nobody's gonna read them.

Ayana could understand those people's frustration. She too wished to leave this place as there was literally nothing to do here. She was simply going to waste her time by staying here, but in order to achieve a good ranking, she needs a nice percentage of attendance.

As they were talking about the prediction of tomorrow weather suddenly a tall figure walked past from Ayana's hindsight.

Ayana wouldn't have known his presence if only Jasmine didn't bowed in silence and let that faint shadow of that tall figure fall upon her.

Ayana slightly turned her head to take a look, but much to her surprise he was someone Ayana would've never guessed she would find him here, in this situation.

"Jake?!"

Her heart subconsciously called out his name as her mind went blank upon recognising that same hairstyle and body silhouette in front of her.
