Ethan's Stubbornness

Next Day,The group sat with The Vampires in the living room. William had wrapped his arms around Alexa.

"Your daughter's just like Rosie". Henry said to William.

"She IS.. Everyone says the same". William nodded with a smile.

"Jesus! I never saw you so happy before William". Jaxon giggled.

"Obviously! My daughter was missing! A part of me was missing". William exclaimed.

"Hmm". Jaxon looked down. "Ray! Go to my place and free Mark". He ordered.

"Jax! It isn't right.. they'll prosper again". Henry objected.

"He's scared enough.. he'll take his family and go away". Jaxon replied.

"How are you so sure? I mean, he might take revenge". Asher interrupted.

"Absolutely". William nodded.

"Ethan promised him. We can't break the promise". Jaxon shook his head. "He can't do anything alone".

"Alright.. I'll go". Ray stood up and went out.

"What will you do next?". William asked.

"We'll take over Romania and send threats to the Monsters all over the world". Jaxon replied.

Someone knocked on the door.

Asher stood up. "I'll have a look".

After a while he came back with a guy who was aged between 20 to 25. He smiled at Jaxon.

"Hola Amigo". He bowed his head.

"Hey! It's you". Jaxon stood up and went to meet him. Jaxon hugged him tightly. "William, this is Luis. Luis, Este es William". He introduced.

"Mucho Gusto Amigo". The guy grinned.

"He says Nice to Meet you ". Henry translated.

"Nice to meet you too". William smiled.

The guy just nodded and talked to Jaxon in Spanish for about 15 minutes. He took out a paper rolled up with a red ribbon and handed it over to Jaxon.

"Gracias Luis". Jaxon thanked him and the guy left.

"Who was him?". William asked.

"A messenger from Spain". Jaxon replied sitting down on the couch. "He brought a message from The Vampires of Spain".

"How did he knew that you're here?". Asher enquired.

"He's a Vampire.. isn't that enough?". Jaxon smirked.

"Hmm". Asher smiled. "Well, I didn't understood even a word when he talked at the door. He mentioned your name so I allowed him to come in.. Man! that was too much Spanish!". He chuckled.

"Hehe". Jaxon laughed softly. He opened the paper and read it carefully. Jaxon looked at Henry and sighed. "The jury is becoming a headache!".

"What do they say?". Henry enquired.

"The jury has ordered to arrest all the Vampires who are partners with Father.. they had given a date to submit the answer but Father ignored it and now they're creating problems for The Spanish Vampires, knowing that they are from the same family as Father is". Jaxon told Henry.

"Goodness!". Henry was worried. "What will we do?".

"Father is so stubborn. He wouldn't go to them at any cost. It's better if we return back to The Vampire World with Ethan and confront them". Jaxon replied.

"Ethan wouldn't go". Henry shook his head.

"I know, he'll resist to stay here in Romania but we have to force him to go back". Jaxon gave a nod. He kept quiet for a while and rubbed his chin, thinking deeply about something. "What if I go to the jury?". He wanted to have Henry's opinion.

"It wouldn't work Jax". Henry replied.

"What the freak!". Jaxon leaned back annoyingly. "I don't know who was SO AFFECTIONATE towards Ethan that he filed a case against FLETCHER".

"Good news from Anthony, Marcus, Matthew, and Martin". Josiah came downstairs.

"They won?". Henry asked.

"Yep". Josiah sat next to Rosie. "Not a single Monster is left. The Vampires will count the number of them dead so that they can predict how many of them are left".

"Hmm". Jaxon nodded.

"You worried because of the jury?". Josiah smiled.

"Yeah". Jaxon looked at Josiah helplessly. "Ethan will never go there".

"Because of Dan?". Josiah asked.

"Because of_ yeah! Because of Dan and because he's Fletcher's successor.. stubborn like him". Jaxon said.

"We can put a condition.. they replace Dan as the jury man and_". Josiah was interrupted.

"Your opinion is quite awesome but Dan's not the ONLY issue.. Ethan will never leave so early". Jaxon told.

"It's only a matter of few days! He can come back here some other time!". Josiah exclaimed.

"He will never agree". Jaxon shook his head.

"Think of something else". Henry said. "We can make Father agreed! He can force him".

"Making Father agree is ten times difficult then making Ethan agree". Jaxon looked at Henry with a narrow eyed glance.

"He WILL agree when he comes to know that Dan is arresting the Vampires". Josiah said. "Leave this to me.. When I'll go to get the ring back, I'll talk to him".

"Well, I would never stop you to make a try". Jaxon sighed.

"He WILL listen to me, these days he's so good towards me". Josiah grinned.

"Hmm". Jaxon looked down. "I have_ an idea! You go talk to Father and I'll talk to Ethan!".

"What would you say?". Josiah enquired.

"I'll try for the last time and if he doesn't agree, I'll go to the jury myself". Jaxon got up from the couch.

"What? You can't do this!". Josiah objected.

"I've no other option left. I cannot see my Father in trouble". Jaxon replied.

"Jaxon! We just got Ethan back. We can't afford to lose YOU now". Josiah said.

"Lemme do this.. there's no power on earth that can convince Ethan". Jaxon shook his head.

"But Jax!". Josiah was not agreeing to Jaxon.

"Shut up and go to Father. Bring Ethan's ring back". Jaxon ordered.

Josiah stood up. "Bye". He frowned at Jaxon and went out.

"Jaxon this is so dangerous". Henry said in a low voice.

"I don't care". Jaxon replied.

He glanced at The Group who were staring at them interestingly.

"phew! you talk to much". Michael chuckled.

Jaxon went upstairs to Ethan. Ethan was already up. He was sitting on the bed, rubbing his biceps.

"Morning". Jaxon smiled and closed the door behind him.

"Hey Jax". Ethan said in a slow voice.

"How do you do now?". Jaxon came near to him and sat.

"Quite Great". Ethan replied with a frown on his face.

"I'm glad! You scared me last night". Jaxon chuckled.

"Sorry Jax.. I totally lost control". Ethan apologized.

"It's okay". Jaxon took Ethan's hand in his. "So, what will we do NOW?".

"What do you mean?". Ethan was confused by the question. "We'll live freely from now on!".

"We will.. the_ The Vampires are eager to see you". Jaxon said.

"I'll go to see them soon". Ethan replied. "I feel like if you have something on your mind. Are you okay? Do you want to say something?".

"The Vampires is Spain are being arrested". Jaxon replied.

"What?". Ethan was surprised.

"Yeah". Jaxon nodded. "Dan's arresting them because of You and Father".

"What the freak!". Ethan stood up. "I told you Dan's a bastard!".

"Ethan! Everyone will soon know that you've returned and the case would finish but I got a letter from Spain. Dan will not finish it until and unless Father goes there". Jaxon stood up as well. "He says Father annoyed him a lot".

"Why are you telling this to me? Do you want ME to go? Why? It's something which Father started, he'll deal with it alone! I'm not going to stand in front of Dan". Ethan was angry now. "it's an insult for me".

"Ethan! Don't start a fight within ourselves! You just have to go and ask him to finish the case". Jaxon tried to convince him.

"No way! I wouldn't beg that bastard". Ethan shook his head.

"Ethan for God's sake". Jaxon pleaded.

"Sorry Jax". Ethan took his shirt and wore it.

"What about our Vampires?". Jaxon said.

"Father will save them". Ethan shrugged.

"You'll not listen to me?". Jaxon asked.

"No! Are you on my side or are you supporting Dan?". Ethan said.

"Of course I'm with you but Ethan! Please act reasonably". Jaxon looked at Ethan with eyes full of hope.

"I AM acting reasonably! This chaos has been produced by Father. He'll deal with it alone". Ethan replied. "It wasn't ME who told him to curse his successor".

"You cannot stand against your own creator!". Jaxon exclaimed. "He can ruin you".

"He CAN'T!". Ethan replied.

"Fine! You'll not listen to me. I know what to do". Jaxon went out of the room.

"What are you up to Jax? Come back here!". Ethan shouted from the back. He sniffed his underarms. "Oh My God! I smell like Rotten Flesh". He said and went into the bathroom.

Jaxon came downstairs. Everyone was sitting in the living room.

"You're back". Henry saw him first. "What happened? Did he agreed?".

"No.. He's so stubborn. I tried to convince him but I failed, so now, I'm going to work on my idea". Jaxon replied.

"What's that?". Michael enquired.

"I'll go to the Vampire world". Jaxon said.

"What?". William expressed his surprise.

"There's no other option left". Jaxon dunked his head down and started sobbing.

"Hey Jax". Henry stood up and went closer to Jaxon. "We will find a way to get out of this".

"We can't". Jaxon shook his head.

Henry looked around in the room and landed his eyes on Rosie. "If you allow me to express my opinion Jax?". He asked for permission.

"Go on". Jaxon said. "What is it?".

"Rosie". Henry replied.

"What?". Ryan looked at Rosie.

Rosie looked at everyone. "What am I gonna do?". She asked Henry.

"Convince him to go to the Vampire world". Henry replied shortly and sat next to Ryan along with Jaxon.

Jaxon was surprised to hear Henry's idea.

"Why me?". Rosie was perplexed.

"Because_". Henry was about to say something but Jaxon shushed him.

"Because he'll listen to you". Jaxon said, liking Henry's idea.

"Why would he listen to her?". Asher sat up straight.

"Josiah has already told you people that she's of Ethan's type. He'll understand her". Henry sighed. "You people ask too many questions".

"We do". Ryan nodded. "But if he IS convinced by Rosie, is there an objection?".

"No there isn't". William shook his head.

"Then go upstairs Rosie". Michael crossed his legs.

"M_Me?". Rosie was reluctant.

"Jesus Christ!". Henry leaned back at the couch.

"God!". Jaxon wiped his tears with an innocent smile.

"What?". Rosie was looking confusingly at the Vampires.

"Rosie! Don't feel reluctant.. go upstairs my dear". William said to Rosie.

Rosie sighed and got up. "Fine". She said and went upstairs, completely ignoring Asher.

Rosie knocked on the door, no one replied. She thought he's angry that's why he's not answering so she opened the door slowly and peeked in. The room was empty, there was no one. She heard the water running in the bathroom so she came in.

Asher's room was lit with lamps on both bedside tables. The curtains were still down. There was a beautiful fragrance in the room. The book shelf caught Rosie's attention.She moved at it and grabbed a book, waiting for Ethan to come out of the bathroom.

After a while of searching for a book, Rosie found an interesting book. She opened it and frowned. The title was in English but the book was in Romanian.

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened. Naked Ethan came out. He had only a towel wrapped around his waist. Rosie turned to look at him. Ethan looked up and felt a bit shameful. Rosie's eyes widened, she placed her palms on them. Ethan went back into the bathroom again and closed the door.

"I didn't saw anything Ethan". Rosie said and removed her palms from her eyes.

After a while, Ethan came out. "Sorry.. my mind isn't working because I don't have my ring". He apologized. Ethan had put Asher's bathrobe on.

"It's okay.. you didn't knew I was there". Rosie placed the book back.

"i smelt like a dead pork so I decided to take a quick bath". Ethan said.

"Nice". Rosie grinned. "I can help you in choosing a shirt from Asher's wardrobe. He has a very vast collection of outfits". She said and opened the door of the closet were Asher kept his clothes.

Rosie took a black high neck tank top with black leather jeans and a red colored coat. "Here it'll suit you".

"I don't wear someone else's clothes.. just give me a random shirt and I'll return it to Asher as soon as Jaxon washes my shirt". Ethan told Rosie.

"Jaxon washes your clothes?". Rosie giggled.

"Yeah". Ethan smiled. "I didn't had enough time to do my chores".

"Wow!". Rosie exclaimed.

"You all just WOW at me.. don't you people have any other compliment?". Ethan chuckled.

"No". Rosie turned to the closet. "I was saying that these clothes are all new_".

"I've already told you.. just give a random shirt..". Ethan interrupted Rosie. He himself took a white t-shirt. "This is good". He said and looked around in the room. "Well". He sighed. "I'll go and wear it in the bathroom.. my jeans are hanging in there".

Rosie waited for a while, Ethan came out wearing Asher's t-shirt.

"Looks good". Rosie appreciated.

"Thank you kitty". Ethan smiled. "So, how are you here? I mean WHY are you here?".

"I_ umm". Rosie was thinking of a lie. "You fell unconscious last night. I just came here to ask how are you now".

"I'm quite better now". Ethan said. "Let's go downstairs". He turned to go but Rosie grabbed his arm.

"Wait". She said.

"What? Rosie! Is there something you wanna say and are scared of saying it?". Ethan asked.

"No". Rosie shook his head.

"I can see it in your eyes.. what is it? Tell me?". Ethan said. "I would have read your mind but that freaking ring of mine has disappeared somewhere_". Rosie interrupted Ethan.

"Your friends are too much worried". She said.

Ethan looked into her eyes. He was becoming angry. He pushed Rosie hand away from his arm. "Jaxon sent you, right?".

"No he didn't". Rosie replied.

"Oh come on Rosie! Don't lie". Ethan chuckled, not believing in her.

"I'm not lying! They were too much concerned about the situation which is going on in The Vampire World. Ethan, they care for you! Jaxon has decided to meet the jury and take all the blame on himself so that he can save you and your Father". Rosie told.

"What? Why?". Ethan was surprised.

"They care for you.. that's all". Rosie said. "Think carefully Ethan.. would you like to see your friend paying the price of such crime which he hasn't committed?".

"Jaxon didn't told any of this to me". Ethan was calm now.

"That guy named Dan is going to put your Father into false cases". Rosie added.

"Why didn't Jax told this to me?". Ethan asked.

"He came here to try for the last time. He was going to confront the Jury but.. I stopped him. I thought you'll listen to me". Rosie replied, mixing up some lies.

"Hell yes! I WOULD!". Ethan exclaimed.

"So, will you go to the jury?". Rosie asked.

"Rosie! I_". Rosie interrupted Ethan again.

"Please Ethan.. for the sake of your friends and Father". She pleaded.

"Listen to me Rosie.. Dan is my worst enemy. He was always jealoused of me because I was Fletcher's successor. Will it look good that I go to him and beg him to finish the cases? Let him do whatever he wants to..". Ethan said.

"You are meant to be mercy for the Vampires.. you cannot push your Vampires into misery like this". Rosie convinced him.

Ethan sighed. "Just because you said it". He forced a smile.

"You'll go?". Rosie was delighted.

"Yeah". Ethan nodded.

"Oh Jesus! Thank you so much Ethan". Rosie held both of Ethan's hands.

"You're welcome..". Ethan replied and hugged her tightly.

"No doubt you're so stubborn". Rosie smiled, pecking on his both cheeks
