Part X

Joel took the linen and voluntarily brought them to the laundry. Putting the bunch of clothes away he found pants and a fancy shirt with laced collar. Be it he can't be picky. Joel took the clothes and went out. Tomorrow he will find a way to get to the guards' house.

In the morning Joel was first to get up. Today he was planning on checking how to pass through the inner gate house. Breakfast went smoothly and Joel picked the best treats to a basket and went for the gate house. The two men standing there were looking tired and bored.

"Good day to you sirs." Joel tried to speak as softly as he could but his voice was deeper than any woman's so he coughed a little. "I brought you some snacks from the kitchen." He handed them the basket with a bottle of stolen wine and smiled innocently, well as innocently as he could.

One of the guards looked at the inside raised his brow in surprise and smiled.

"Well pretty girl that's some fine things you brought us."

"Sir's behind those gates there is my boyfriend and I haven't seen him for a few days. Could you pass me through for an hour?" Joel pleaded.

"And who's the lucky guy?"

"Brian, he works in the stables." Joel lowered his head as if he was a bit ashamed of confessing the lover's name.

"Sure, you can pass through the inner door here. The guard lead her. "If you change your mind a could gladly have you as my girlfriend." He smiled encouraging.

Joel smiled back and swiftly left the gate house. Assholes, pitiful assholes. He needs to find Brian to learn more about the outer ward. Joel strolled around looking at the walls and checking through the barn and finally stables to find Brian.

'… I told you to watch it properly, he clearly has something wrong with the hoof." Jeep Joel knew that voice.

'Hi Brian." Joel greeted the familiar face with a smile.

"Joy! So good to see you." His eyes were sparkling and all the other men working with the horses stopped for a moment to look at him. Joel stood there with his loose hair smiling as sweetly as he could.

"Well me too. I missed you Brian. I can't stay long but I just hoped to see you for a moment." Joel was spouting all that cheesy sentences making sure the other men in the stables heard them. Brian got puffed up and hugged Joel for a brief moment, making Joel hold his breath due to the intense horse smell lingering on Brian.

"So tell me what have you been doing." Joel continued they joyful meeting.

"Accept of thinking about you, I'm responsible for all the workmen in these stables." There was lots of pride in his expression. Joel caught on that.

'Really, so you are like a boss here. Brian you are so capable! Can you accompany me to the inner gates, I need to go back."

"Sure Joy." He turned back to the other workers and announced. "I will show off my fiancee, keep working." Holding hands with Brian Joel left the stables. On the way Brian kept talking about his responsibilities and Joel listened. Joel knew he needed horses to get back with Francine to her home. Brian will help him, Joel was sure of it. At the gate Joel gave his fiance a peck on the cheek and said goodbye. The guard looked with shock at his company.

"That's your boyfriend girl?" he asked in disbelieve.

"Ye sir."

"If you change your mind, I'm definitely a better catch than him."

Joel didn't know how to answer such awkward proposition so he smiled and left tying his head wrap and hiding hair.

He was scolded by the head maid Hilda for being lazy. For the rest of the day Joel was scrubbing the floor.

In the evening he hid in the garden behind the keep and changed clothes. With loose hair, brown pants with white shirt and without fake tits, he felt like a man again.

The guards had their own great hall to sit in the evening and Joel went straight there.

"Are you looking for someone sir?" One of the guards asked him.

"I'm looking for ha.." Joel almost bit his tong, he nearly said handsome." I'm looking for Gerd."

"Well sir he is there in the corner." Joel looked in the pointed direction and saw Gerd. He came closer and addressed the " handsome Gerd"

"Hi Gerd, we need to talk. Have you got minute?"
