No Memory. New Misunderstandings

"A hybrid?"

Everyone looked horrified.

"The vampires might want to go away!" Klaus told them.

Caroline yelled one more time, and her form changed.

"Caroline is a wolf?" Elena whispered.

"If you want to get bit you can stay!" Klaus repeated.

"But we can't go….." Bonnie told Klaus, "She is in so much pain!"

"I'll handle it!"

"But…." Stefan was scared, he was scared of what Klaus might do to Caroline.

"I won't do anything to her, Stefan." Klaus told him, "Relax, she'll be fine."

Elijah stared at Klaus.

"I'll follow her," He told Elijah. "I'll make sure she'll be fine!"

Klaus seemed different. Klaus turned into a wolf. He stood next to Caroline who was running towards the door.

Klaus followed, Caroline was heading towards the Mystic Falls woods, and he followed.

There was something about that girl that he wanted to go after her.

Klaus and Caroline were gone, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie and Damon sat in the living room.

"Who would have thought blondie would be a werewolf!?" Damon sipped on the drink.

Stefan shot him an angry look. They were so worried about what had happened.

"What happens when she is an unsired Hybrid?" Elijah asked Bonnie. "You are a Bennett Witch, throw some light on this!"

"I don't know what to say!" Bonnie was still in shock.

She hadn't gotten over the fact that Caroline was a vampire, but now she just turned into a wolf.

Caroline Forbes woke in the woods, a black blanket was thrown on her.

She pushed a little backwards. She felt doozy.

"What am I doing here?" SHe ran a hand through her hair which was now covered with mud and twigs. "Ahgg!"

"It's okay, love!" Klaus told her.

"No….No….no...No…." Caroline was scared, she took several steps back, holding the blanket. "What the hell happened!"

Caroline looked upset.

"It's okay, Love!" He told her.

"What did you do?" Caroline was standing, leaning against a tree. "Why am I here?" She asked.

"I didn't do anything!" He stood up from the rock he was sitting on.

"Why am I here?" She asked.

"Don't you remember?" Klaus asked, pointing a finger towards her.

"No….What happened?" She wrapped the blanket around her and put the two corners together and tied a knot on her left shoulder.

It looked as if she was wearing a dress.

"You are wearing a blanket from my bed, and still look good!" Klaus smirked.

"Please…...Klaus!" Caroline begged. "Tell me, why am I here?"

His eyes narrowed.

"You don't remember killing the girl at my house." He told her.

"I killed someone?" Caroline looked horrible.

She took a step back, her eyes looked watery.

"OH MY GOD…." She sat down on the ground. "I killed someone….."

"It's okay, Love….!" Klaus came near her.

"I killed someone!" She held her head. "I am a monster….."

She was crying.

"It's okay….Caroline!" He was holding her hands.

"No!" She jumped back. "Don't…..Don't touch me!"

Klaus looked horrified.

"What did you do to me!" She looked angry and scared, she pushed him away. "Get away!"

Klaus looked a little upset.

"I didn't do anything!" He told her, moving away.

"Then, why the hell am I in the middle of the woods…." She demanded. "Because the last thing I remember is drinking from your waitress."

She asked.

"Caroline….." He turned towards her, and held her shoulders. "Tell me, you don't remember anything more than drinking from the waitress?"

"Yes, I am sure!" Caroline said exasperatedly. "What happened?"

"Caroline, you transitioned into a wolf."

"I....what?" Caroline was stumped, she didn't move. "Can that actually happen?"

Klaus smiled.

"Am I…..now….." She didn't know how to ask. "Like you?"

Klaus's smirk was more obvious and wide.

She was getting angry at him. She pushed him,

"Tell me!?" She shouted. "Did I become what you are?"

She asked.

"Caroline Forbes!" Klaus Mikaelson turned towards her, and held her arms. "You just surprised everyone."

He smiled.

"And you became a hybrid without the Doppelganger's blood!"

"I became a hybrid?" Caroline sat down.

"That's right, love!" Klaus was picking up his jacket from the rock.

"So, I am half wolf, and half vampire?" Caroline asked him.

"We better get going…." He offered her a hand, "I'll explain everything to you."

"I am scared!" She whispered, as she took his hand and got up.

"It's alright." Klaus smiled. "I'll help you!"

"You'll help me?" Caroline asked him, surprised.

"Yes...Why are you so surprised?" Klaus asked.

"I don't know....since you kill everyone in sight and torture people left and right!" She told him.

They walked back to Mikaelson's house, and went inside.

Klaus opened the door and showed her inside.

"There are bedrooms upstairs, you can use any of them." Klaus told her, "Except the last one on the left."

He looked around, and whispered.

"Elijah's."

Caroline laughed.

"Thank you, Klaus!" She was walking the stairs, "I couldn't have gone home like this!"

She pointed to her hair, the blanket she was wearing as a dress.

"Can I ask something else?" She asked.

Klaus waited.

"Anything!"

"Can you get my clothes from my bedroom," She asked. "The window will be open."

She felt stupid asking Klaus Mikaelson that. She thought he would say no, but he disappeared through the door.

She smiled, and went upstairs.

She took a shower, and saw her clothes lying on the bed.

She changed and came downstairs. Elijah was standing in the dining room, and Klaus was nowhere to be seen.

"Ah! Caroline Forbes!" He stood at the door, "Come inside!"

He stepped aside.

"Oh...I can't!" Caroline told him, "I already feel that I am intruding…."

"Oh no….." Elijah smiled. "Looks like we have a lot to talk about."

"With me?" She asked, surprised.

"Yes.." He sat down. "Please….Join me."

Caroline sat down. She didn't know what to say.

"Caroline, you know..." He started to say. "This was the first time my brother has done something good for someone."

He looked at Caroline. She didn't say anything.

"And I think you need to let him."

"Let him?" Caroline stopped, "Let him do what?"

"Do things for you!" Elijah told her, "He needs someone in his life who he cares for."

"And he cares for me?" Caroline laughed. "I'm sorry, Elijah….But me?"

"Yes…" He told her calmly, putting his fork down. "I think he does."

"I think you are wrong…." She was a little flustered.

"Really?" He asked. "Then why did he spend the night looking after you?"

"Uh…." Caroline was stumbling for words. "Anyone would have done that for me......because that's what normal people do!"

"No….That's where you are wrong!" Elijah tapped his fork on the plate. "You would do that for anyone. Not Klaus......If Klaus didn't care for you, he would have looked at you twice."

Caroline's face opened, and then closed again.

"He cares for you," Elijah told her, "He needs to change, and you can help him."

Caroline looked at Elijah. She was biting her lip. She was nervous.

"Please…..Caroline!" Elijah stood up, "I ask this as a favor."

She didn't know what to say. He came closer, and held her hand.

"Please!"

Klaus entered the room again. He took one look at Elijah, and Caroline thought he was angry.

He rushed out of the room.

"I think I should go!" Caroline picked her purse, and rushed out of the house.

Elijah sighed. He didn't know what Klaus was thinking but it was something bad.

"Klaus?" He ran after him. "Niklaus….?!"

He shouted.
