A normal day with Shishou

Rimuru: You should hope so otherwise who knows what will happen.

Amar: Yeah Kazuma don't offend her. Even currently she is powerful enough to enter your dreams and plant a psychological cue on you while you not noticing. A cue like that could even make you celibate for life. Of course there are restrictions on her powers but before you find about them, you are screwed.

Subaru: As expected, being respectful to the ladies is the best choice to make. Of course this doesn't count those radical feminists.

Rimuru: Agreed

Freya: What are you talking about? Feminists?

Amar: You don't need to know about them. Anyways guys I also have stuff to do, so see you later.

Alright let's put this away. I think that's enough chatting for the day. Anyway White will definitely be another powerful asset to our group from the looks of it. And who knows how powerful she is when she gains control of her goddess powers. Hopefully not too powerful but reasonable enough.

Now what to do with Shishou, I feel like I shouldn't do anything lewd to her in "retaliation" because that would be wrong I feel and it might even make her feel disappointed in myself. After all she is calling all this training to temper my will against seduction but it's really a torture for me you know. I am not one to be easily seduced if I do say so myself especially after Gamer's Mind, the only reason I am finding it hard to resist my desires is because Shishou is my type. I like the type of person she is. Anyway I wonder what kind of retaliation would work. I could beat her in a fight if I go all out but then many things will be destroyed and my cover will be blown. After all High Rankers' battles can easily destroy countries and sometimes even Continents depending on how powerful they are.

"Shishou what are you doing here on my lap?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow.

"I am training you." She says with a weird grin. Oh I hate that grin because of how torturous this "training" is. I mean I am not a saint you know, I also have these urges even though they are at an all time low since I changed my race. I am pretty sure I couldn't have resisted Freya back then if I was still a human, much less this continuous "torture" that I experience everyday. Then again I do enjoy it too, so its a very complicated feeling.

"Shishou let me meditate and practice my Shinsu Heart technique." I tell her after taking my legs away from under her head.

She just nods at that and starts meditating herself. I think she should be close to reaching Intermediate rank in Shinsu Heart. While I think I will reach it in around 5 days at most. Honestly my speed is really fast at this because I can forcibly circulate the technique much faster because my Shinsu Heart is indestructible. Anyways I think I should think about what I would buy from the item shop after that advancement, probably should buy a weapon but well we will see.

Time passes as we meditate, and night is here upon us. Well there is no real night in the Tower but these fake day and night cycles do help in keeping track of days if you don't have pockets. So I feel that they are essential, Workshop really makes wonders. Should I take over the workshop too? But why didn't Jahad and those guys take over the Workshop? Is there something I am missing here? I know workshop is outside the Tower too but that shouldn't be enough of a deterrent to prevent them from taking over the branch inside the Tower. I do remember that the Black Hole Shinsu Sphere Manual in Item shop was written by Macseth, who is the leader of the Workshop here. Is he a hidden powerhouse on the level of Jahad and them? Well these are things I have to be careful about I guess.

I guess that was enough of a digression. We finish the training and take a bath together, yeah that's right. This is also part of my so-called training, sometimes I have doubts but Shishou's face is expressionless at these times so I don't know what the hell she wants or is this just sincere training.

After the bath we spar some more to increase my proficiency with the spear. In the middle of this, we get a new customer in our shop so we temporarily stop our spar to welcome him or her inside the shop. It's a little girl, she requests us to find some materials from some dangerous Shineuh (Divine Sea Fish) on the behalf of her team. So we accept her request and tell her to come back tomorrow night for the materials. We can honestly finish the request in under an hour at most but normally it should take Regulars a day to do this so to prevent any suspicion we just train in our free time.

After seeing the little girl out. I told Shishou about the request and we immediately set out for it. With our speed we reached the place in 5 minutes. And started looking for the Frog type Shineuh whose gland she was asking for. We have to get 5 sets of glands. They are dangerous because they spray acidic Shinsu when they are threatened, also we have to keep their glands intact. That's why it's dangerous for most Regulars. We found them and hunted them easily because of our stealth. Then we got back in under an hour after separating the important materials.

And thus the day ended and we went to sleep, even though neither of us needs it.

So that was the chapter. Hope you liked it, even though I didn't I just found it meh to be honest with you. Lately I have been feeling that the story is going downhill. Chat group part is still OK but the rest is kinda iffy. Honestly I wrote this chapter just to write a chapter today.

I am saying this because I want to ask you if it's just me who feels this way or do you see that as well? It just doesn't feel as good as it was in the beginning, my take on this is that the current arc is not well structured to make it feel good. Also I feel like I am butchering Scathach, so there is that too.
