Chapter 11.1

It was impossible to simply drill out the lock, but Kevin's eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint. He glanced up at Oswald, then quickly looked away. Oswald snapped at Kevin's belt loop, and Kevin followed his lead.

"Hey! What are you doing? Don't pull! My pants are about to fall off!" Mi Ao exclaimed as he held onto his waistband tightly.

Kevin, who was acting like a burglar, threw the metal bar that he used to stab the lock at the giant beast man, Shaw. "Hurry up! We can fit as many as we can, but we can't confront them head-on. We'll probably be blocked before we can get out!"

The tall and burly giant orcs had never done such meticulous work as stealing chickens and dogs. Shaw held the slender stick in his hand, and his mind was still not fully awake. He looked confused. "How do I use this?"

"Don't be stupid, give it to me!" Oswald snatched the stick away.

As Emperor, Mi Ao did not know why Oswald had such superb lockpicking skills. He did not care who was locked in the dungeon, he simply picked one lock after another, opening three prison doors in three seconds.

Kevin snatched the metal ring from Mi Ao's belt and quickly opened the two prison doors in this area.

The mighty army poured into the dungeon like a flood from the entrance on the ground.

Mi Ao roared, "Charge!" and rushed forward with Xiao and the others. Along the way, Mi Ao picked up a long sword that had fallen to the ground. There was also a sand ghost's heart pierced on the sword. The heart of the high-pitched voice had already turned to sand.

"Don't step on the sand on the ground!" Kevin warned as he poked the keyhole.

Mi Ao drew his sword and fought the guards who were rushing in. Mi Ao killed them one by one, displaying the prowess of a man who could take on many.

A bare-handed deputy commander in light armor, a two-meter-tall, muscular behemoth man who was a bit soft due to the effects of medicine, and a blind and lame male lion lay across the corridor of the dungeon.

The young lion cub lunged forward but was stopped by a backhand swipe from his father.

"Ben, do you know Dan? He's in the cell across from us. Wake him up!" Shaw shouted, without turning his head.

Ben scrambled back and slammed on the brakes at Kevin's unlocked cell door. "Hurry, hurry!"

The door lock clicked, and Ben rushed in, slapping his hand vigorously to wake up a burly man lying on the ground.

"Wake up! If you don't, you'll be roasted alive! Do you want to live?!" Ben snarled into Dan's ear, his spittle nearly choking him.

Bird?

Kevin glanced at the burly man, then again at the fist-sized eye on his head.

A row of cell doors was pried open by Oswald, and the people locked inside were also awakened by the movement in the cell. Those who had been pretending to be dead or unconscious rolled over and jumped up. In an instant, the narrow tunnels of the dungeon were filled with people... all kinds of people.

There were the Eldar, who preferred shrouds and were naturally thin. There were the giant beasts, who stood as tall as a hill. Some were two giant beasts in one person. And there were the Ona, who looked like Kevin and the others.

Ona means "the relics of the gods" in the ancient language. Unfortunately, apart from being well-proportioned and decent, they had not inherited any divine power. The Eldar were skilled in witchcraft and lived long lives. The giant beastmen were naturally fierce and powerful. The Ona tribe, divided into several countries, had no inherent advantages. They could only rely on their cleverness.

Oswald opened the last keyhole and threw away the metal rod in his hand. "A clever little thing that can save lives."
