Upon awakening, his singular focus was on unlocking the lock and internally greeting the emperor numerous times, with no regard for his attire. After briefly inspecting himself, he asked: "Who is the person responsible to washed me?"
Oswald scoffed, "Noting about the inexplicable wound which had appeared and then mysteriously mended itself. How could a mere ordinary people service account for such an inexplicable phenomena?"
Kevin was momentarily regretful that he had lost the opportunity to utilize the situation to his advantage, but upon noticing the almost imperceptible expression of unease flit across Oswald's countenance, he hesitated.
Despite his direct nature, even he could sense that delving further into the matter would prove unwise.
Thus, after a prolonged moment of mutual scrutiny, he chose to ignore the issue and move on to other topics.
Kevin leaned against the headboard of the bed in a more comfortable position, raised his chin at Oswald, and said, "I am too lazy to argue with you. I will treat this as retribution for knocking all of you out underground. What about the food? I am hungry."
Oswald raised his eyebrows and walked into the bedroom with a silver tray.
As he stood by the bed, bending down to place the silver tray on the wooden cabinet beside the bed, Kevin suddenly jumped up, raised his hand, and twisted it. With lightning speed, the thick iron chain wrapped around Oswald's neck.
The emperor was dragged down onto the bed by Kevin, who was very clever with his hands, just enough to knock the man down without suffocating him.
Taking advantage of Oswald's lack of reaction, Kevin quickly turned over and pressed down on him.
Kevin's kneeling right knee pressed against Oswald's left wrist, his left hand clamped Oswald's other hand, and his right hand, which had been stuck between Oswald's neck while pulling the iron chain, was now condescendingly bowed as he asked, "Where is the key? Is it on you, or on some guard?"
He pressed skillfully, causing Oswald to feel only slight discomfort. As a result, Oswald raised his chin, laughed briefly, and squinted, saying, "What? Am I bored of it?"
"I have numerous ways to bind these chains around your body. You cannot escape, and I cannot untie you," Kevin stated, raising his eyebrows. "I do not enjoy fighting with people in such close proximity. It is too embarrassing. What do you say? Once we resolve these matters, I will save you from a beating."
"This deal is quite favorable," Oswald responded angrily. "If you fail to comprehend it, you will be beaten. I did not suffer from such things as a child. It is not bad."
Kevin was taken aback by Oswald's thick skin and lack of fear of being beaten. For the first time, he questioned whether the so-called strict education was truly appropriate and could lead to the creation of such rebels.
Over the last century, he had believed that he had adapted well to his identity and power as a regular person, and he did not yearn for his past divine power.
In today's world, everyone was equal, but the gods were different. Regardless of who possessed abilities that were significantly greater than those of ordinary people, there would always be some drawbacks.
However, when faced with a tough guy like Oswald, he suddenly missed the time when he had supernatural powers.
During the era of the God of Light, he would have hung the lawless emperor upside down on the top of the Temple of Light with one finger and dried him for a month to make bacon.
Lost in thought, he remained in such a position, unaware that the emperor he was pressing down was staring at his face without turning around. When those shallow, nearly transparent eyes gazed at people, an invisible interference force always arose, causing the person being stared at to feel uneasy from head to toe.
Kevin tilted his head and asked angrily, "Why are you staring blankly? Where are the keys?"
Oswald responded with an "oh" and casually stated, "They are hidden on me. Retrieve them yourself."
Kevin used his left knee to press down on Oswald's other wrist and freed his hand. First, he slapped Oswald on the head, which was quite rude, and immediately left a red mark. He scolded, "It appears that you are about to rebel."
Oswald sneered and calmly replied, "You do not seem to have figured out who is rebelling."
"Heh," Kevin responded, grabbing a piece of rye bread from the silver plate on the bedside table. "If you need to tidy up, I will assist you in blocking it. You are welcome."
Oswald remained silent...
Kevin flipped Oswald over abruptly and began to search him quickly and efficiently. It was as if he only needed to touch something with his fingertips to determine whether it had the potential to be hidden there. Although he was quite comfortable searching on his own, Oswald, who was being rummaged through, was a little speechless.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Kevin patted twice with his fingers and impatiently took the rye bread away. "I will give you an opportunity to speak."
Oswald coughed twice and responded angrily, "Can you not be so gentle and rainy when you are searching for something? It makes my hair stand on end."
"Bothersome!" Kevin shook his head and dropped the bread before using it to block the emperor.
Oswald felt like he was dealing with a dog that wouldn't stop barking.
After being protested by the emperor, Kevin finally became more forceful. After patting his upper body, he complained, "Why are the emperor's clothes so complicated? Aren't you tired of wearing them..."
After speaking, he reached for Oswald's pants once more.
However, after turning them over twice, Kevin angrily took the bread away again, saying, "What is wrong with you, my dear Majesty?"
This time, Oswald said nothing...
He glanced at his lower back with his eyes, pausing just right on Kevin's hand, then looked up at Kevin with an awkward and speechless expression. He said, "What do you mean?"
To put it mildly, His Majesty the Emperor sometimes tended to wander off in his thinking but expressed himself very subtly, causing Kevin, who expressed himself crookedly but was quite reserved in thought, to be unable to grasp the main point for a while.
Unable to bear it any longer, Oswald said bluntly, his face turning green, "Can you not be so vulgar when searching for something?"
Kevin was at a loss for words. What did he do that was vulgar?! He had been thinking about "keys and keys" the entire time and had not paid attention to anything else.
After being accused by Oswald, he threw a big "vulgar" hat on himself, only then realizing that he was searching in the wrong place.
