CHAPTER 89

That morning the weather was very sunny, but not with Brian feeling a little gloomy because of his jealousy of his wife, who was now silently staring at Sam. He wanted to be angry, but of course Lucia would be mad at him because it was clear from the start that they had agreed not to intrude on each other's private lives.

While there, Sam couldn't help but smile slightly at Brian's disapproving attitude. He felt happy because he could make the man jealous of him and Lucia. In fact, he thought Lucia was acting normal, but seeing the jealous side of Brian, she actually felt happier.

"Lucifer," said Lucia, which immediately broke her daydream.

"Yes, Miss?"

"Aren't you leaving today?"
