He cast his spell again, expending the remnants of his remaining energy though not entirely because he knew that he would still have to face Sam, Lucia and the two annoying gods and goddesses inside; Kali and also Yama.

Eventually the shield shattered, but then he was surprised by a sudden attack from Sam and Lucia that directly pierced his solar plexus, knocking him down.
