"She can't even satisfy me with her mouth."

Jada stiffen when she heard her boyfriend say that. She wanted to cry but the closet was too suffocating, that even her tears won’t come out. When the room became silent, she peeked to see what Lyken is doing with the woman he brought home. Fortunately, they seem to be sleeping already. Jada slowly crept out of the closet and made a run for the door. She went out as fast as she could. Out of his condo. Out of his life.

She was a fool the first time she forgave him for cheating on her. Stupid when she forgave him the second time. Now Lyken strikes three and Jada decided to let go of him, for good. That way, he can do anything and everything he wants, without hurting anyone. Without hurting her.

She Was Tamed

I managed to convince Jada that I’ll take her to the event. I won’t get in so I didn’t bother changing clothes. 


I decided not to drink yet, too. I want Jada to feel secure since I’m driving. Even back then, she doesn’t want me to drive when I drink, even just a sip. 


"Ly are you ok?" Honey asked, worry written on her face. 


"Never been better," I answered smiling. 


I must admit that I’m still hopeful that Jada and I will reconcile, as boyfriend and girlfriend. But I chose not to push it in the meantime. For now, I just want to enjoy her company. 


Of course, I want to get to know Jada 2.0 more. Everything happened so fast but I won’t ask for anything more than what happened today. 


Honey nodded at my response while Kobe tapped my shoulder. Everything feels better even if my situation with Jada’s like this, friends. 


Although we’re not intimate because of the said friendship, I won’t exchange it for anything. I’d rather be friends with her than enemies.
