Jada stiffen when she heard her boyfriend say that. She wanted to cry but the closet was too suffocating, that even her tears won’t come out. When the room became silent, she peeked to see what Lyken is doing with the woman he brought home. Fortunately, they seem to be sleeping already. Jada slowly crept out of the closet and made a run for the door. She went out as fast as she could. Out of his condo. Out of his life.

She was a fool the first time she forgave him for cheating on her. Stupid when she forgave him the second time. Now Lyken strikes three and Jada decided to let go of him, for good. That way, he can do anything and everything he wants, without hurting anyone. Without hurting her.

She Was Tamed

"Dude, what are you planning to do?” Kobe asked. 


We’re now inside his car cruising along Edsa on our way to NAIA Terminal 1. We’re going there to pick up the daughter of our client. 


"Planning to do on what?” I asked, confused. 


"Your plan about Jada’s suitors!" he replied with a chuckle. 


I just looked at him, weighing if he was serious with what he was saying or not. Unfortunately, he does look like he’s serious so I can’t help but laugh. 


“What’s so funny, man? Are you just gonna let those suitors make a move on her? You won’t even do anything? You’re giving up?" he asked continuously. 


“You know my situation with Jada, man! From the moment she told me she wants us to be friends, I know. I already know that we’re hopeless. That she’s already put a period in our story,” I responded as I look outside the window.
