Chapter 42

The day of Kobe and Honey’s wedding finally arrived. As we all got busy, I didn’t get the chance to talk to Jada, again

When she came back, she arrived late at night and went straight to bed. Jada decided to get some rest for the next day’s event.

Kobe and I went to the church two hours before their wedding. He insisted on coming early though Honey’s parents asked him not to.

When we reached the church, I felt uneasy. I sit and stand alternately and I know Kobe’s starting to get annoyed at me.

“Dude, I’m the one who’s getting married, but you’re the one who looked like your bride just run away. Can you please settle down?” he teased.

I scratch the back of my head, not knowing how to respond to my best friend. I’m actually anxious as to how I’ll face Jada and explain to her everything about our misunderstanding.

A few more minutes, we noticed a commotion at the entrance of the church. The host announced that the bride has already arrived.
