I raised my hand right in front of his face before he could speak again. I stopped him from talking and hurried to finish my food. I can’t talk about that yet, not right now.

Thankfully, he got my signal. He let us finish breakfast first. As I was in a hurry, I put my plate down and grab a stick of cigarette from the side table.

I then went out to the terrace for a smoke. Lighting the cigarette, I scan the view from outside the hotel and I miraculously calmed down.

I enjoyed the view outside. From where I’m standing, I can see the beautiful houses inside an exclusive subdivision close to the hotel.

I smiled in my head. I want a house like this. I want to have a house when I stop modeling. One I can call my own.

I was deep in my thoughts when Lyken’s arms snaked their way around my waist from behind. “I miss you,” he whispered, planting a soft kiss on my neck.
