Chapter 11: Connected Paths

Main Plaza of Cappadox

Southern Part of Vaettir

A widely awaken city of Cappadox already bustled lively as early as the first lights of the sun rose. Streets were teeming with people; most were out of their houses to hand the colorful decorations of banners and flags carrying the flaming crest of the nation on their balconies or walls.

The arrival of the duke is greatly anticipated with the line of civilians filing excitedly at either side of the main road.

Fionn heard rumors of how powerful the king is—how the Grand Conjuror mastered the elements of Magyk, that his spells could reshape an entire terrain to his will. He had yet to see how the mages of Vaettir Court looked like; as far as Fionn knows the northern nation had an army of sorcerers who wielded various elements, harness the power of nature, and some were said to even grasp a full control of the dark arts.
