I was taken to my chamber and God it was good, everything a person would ever want was in it, I even had a sitting room of my own
" f*** " I whispered but somehow Ella heard me
" Lady Natalia, your language" she warned and I rolled my eyes
" oh forgive me but if I see something that is f****** beautiful, then I'll say f***," I said
" you shouldn't" she sounded angry

Ella told me to sleep but I couldn't, I kept wondering how the mission was going to be, Luna said a lot more happened before that day, what was it? Was that why Rowan ran away or did he truly go missing. This is not going to be an easy mission.

An hour later we were walking along the long hallway with a guard leading the way. We took one or two turns I couldn't remember, it will take me a while to know my way in the castle. Tables and chairs were arranged in a line on both my left and right and each we're occupied by gussets and other officials and I felt their eyes on me, I tried my best to walk straight but Damn the dress made it so hard, at the end of both tables had a long table crossing them both and in the middle sat the king, on his right was my father and another man who didn't look friendly and his left had those two beautiful creatures, prince Rowan and princess Amelia and another young lady I wasn't sure who she was. I stop in front of them, greeted the kings, and he introduced me to the crowd who called in response then he introduced me to the young lady
" This is Lady Malisa, my niece and also your opponent " I raised an eyebrow wondering why Rowan's cousin would want to be his wife. Looking at the lady, she gave me an irritated smile, it was clear that she didn't like me, usually, I would be upset with the smile she gave me but I wasn't, instead, I found her familiar very familiar
" hi," I said but she rolled her eyes and looked away, still I wasn't upset, I was distracted by the fact that I found her familiar
" go sit " the king instructed and I did as I was told, sitting next to her, wondering where I have seen that face before " let the party begin, " the king said and we were taken by noise, talks, and laughter. Dancers came to present but I was not interested, instead, I kept wondering where I have seen Malisa before because it was so weird ' Malisa, Malisa, Malisa ' I repeated her name In my head 'Ma. Lisa, Ma.....Lisa ' then it hit me ' wait. Lisa ' realizing that does eyes and that smile were Lisa's, I looked at the lady beside me in shock, holy shit, I thought to myself, this was Lisa's great, great, great, I wasn't sure how many great but Lisa was related to the lady. I couldn't believe it, why was I always competing with Lisa, first she took Jonathan now I have to compete for Rowan, but I wasn't too worried about it, I was not interested in marrying Rowan after all. Still thinking to myself I was interrupted by her whisper
" I can't believe I waited all day for such disappointment " And I began to wonder what she meant

" am sorry but I wasn't talking to you, not like you are the only disappointment here " I was taken aback by her words as my mouth dropped in complete shock, why the hell will she insult me when I haven't offended her, I became angry and my shock turned into a short laugh

" excuse me " I stood up and left my seat, trying to find Ella, at least someone I can chat with, and my attention was drawn to my singing belly, I was hungry, and whenever nature calls, it has to be attended to. Scanning the room for something I can quickly eat, a plate of full chicken caught my eyes and I smiled, being an expert thief, I looked around to see if anyone had eyes on it, and luck for me it was all mine, I blend into the crowd pretending to talk to people, got closer to the table I put my feet on the way and a lady tripped and fell creating a distraction I grabbed the plate of chicken and made my way to the balcony. As the night breeze hit my skin I inhaled the fresh air " finally, peace" holding the plate with one hand I used the other to pull the chicken wings out of the whole chicken, and it went straight to my mouth " oh heaven, it's good " enjoying every second of it
" is it " that familiar calm but dip voice took me off guard
" Holy shit " I almost screamed, turning around was that perfect creation standing on the other side of the balcony with confusion in his eyes, his beautiful eyes, I looked at myself in embarrassment, what do I do?
