so mr.roomy freeze. and here they were, the bodyguard and his to be mistress no, the already mistress. the one who kept looking at the other non stopping to admire the bewitching creation of God on him and the other whose mind played smartly on trying to quick observe what kind of a lady pinnah was. a person who turned to be very scary to the other people outside, seemed so dolly to her, so how would she react to the others who turned lower than t
her status. one thing that chris ever hated, was the rich kids acting highly entitled of themselves as though the world spinned around their heads.
would it have any difference from them to her, with the exact her family grounds was the most famous tycoon title the world has come to know.
"hello!" suddenly came a chanting sound of pinnah and friendly wave of her hand at him. but there blew a cold silence from Chris who slowly flinched his lower eyelid while looking at her. his mouth was as tight as a cone pie, not even bothering to open it up. of course she smelled this temperament ever since she first set her eyes on him. these men who looked so cool and untouchable were likely tending to call themselves as men of no words. and to her, these men actually weren't her type.
not minding how coldly he ignored her friendly approach, pinnah smiled and pulled her legs up to walk near where chris was standing. she had to admit just how comely this man looked right now.
"your so handsome, like for real are you even a human being.!" she said while trying to study his face and see if they was anything that was inaccurately placed on his face. but hell, he looked so smart not even to find a tear on his face, his hair were well combed and oiled and just as lovely and sweet his scent was to captivate a nostril of person's nose. one would laugh hard to his or her stomach to believe that the man standing there was a bodyguard. pinnah herself judged if her instinct were telling her the truth.
her question, no her comment on him at a first sight. for just like how many times does he have to hear that from bunches of ladies or even kids sometime who could openly admit to his appealing face. well from pinnah that wasn't even a distracting comment. he cleared his throat and brought out his quiet breath. he didn't even know how to begin it with her. no, he wasn't going to call her boss or anything like master and there he was, finding it hard to lift his tongue and utter a word before her.
" don't worry, I don't actually fall for guys like you. am not like the other girls you met I swear." she said while looking at him. but chris didn't even bother to move his lips rather locking his eyes to hers emotionlessly. pinnah couldn't understand, was she supposed to explain herself more to make him talk or say anything or at least to cut that strong gaze he was throwing at her.
" believe me. I even hate handsome guys!!, they are just not meant for me. but I can comment on you, it's very real." she said again and smiled, and if only pinnah could try turning her head a side a little, chris would glow a smile on his lips because pinnah sounded so much like his sister who intensely tries her best to explain herself whenever someone got a wrong view of her point.
"no need." he said, to at least bring a faking smile and several slight nods of pinnah. "no need.! thus all he got to say, how boring." pinnah uttered mockly at him inside her head, how uninteresting she fond herself of such men.
" so about my sister.! I hope your not the one, are you?" she said, not so sure whether he was the bodyguard assigned or not. well, she knew it was useless trying to avoid her sister's decision. when it comes about wrong or right, for some reasons she knew her sister would always want what's right for her, even if it meant to hurt or depress her feelings. she was just curious and all she wanted was to know and hear it from him wether he was the bodyguard or not. chris depressed and elevated his eyes on the sight of hers, honestly not trying confront her rather just trying to find a perfect way of answering her that According to her age. but he couldn't find it so better than nodding his to answer her question.
pinnah then smiled and offered her hand to shake it with his. but of course as it is, the mr.cold angel didn't seem to react to her act of softness. he stared right down that hand of hers while his hands were still inside his pocket. pinnah didn't want to look so unfelt with her action, infact it wasn't even a crime to shake hands so what's wrong with him making It look like they had an friendship-enemy story back then. she puffed her cheeks and let out the air within while knitting her brows and unexpectedly grabbed onto his one arm that stuck inside his pocket and strongly pulled It out to only place her hand with his. she was stubborn, it didn't only turn out to her sister even the others she could get close to.
chris nearly butted out a yell from his mouth but he reluctantly held himself back. "what was she even doing, who the hell did she ever think she was. why do the two sisters confound him in two different ways of their own. while the other was repulsive, the younger one turned to be charming. although he couldn't tell exactly what kind of characters she possessed, he could still tell how charming and coming she was to anyone. well anybody could tell about her charming character.
chris frowned his face astoned to what just happened, no one had ever done something as silly as this, despite his
cold aura pinnah still managed to act so not bothered by it. she then let it go and retreated her steps back a little.
"now that should be good." she said, while chris still stood still listening to her next speech.
" am quite stubborn yes, but literally just a little not as much as my sister." she continued explaining herself like though the other side asked for her introductions. but well she never cared the less. all she wanted was a clear boundary and a good relationship with people who came all along a cross her life. so here she was slightly opening her being to her bodyguard.
" I do not know you that well but I hope we can get along well with each other. don't worry I won't be a cross over to your plans and regular dealings only if you too won't be so clingy on me."
she said, unintendedly to bring a raised brows on Chris' face. 'what! being clingy she said, did he appear to be of such a type to him.' one would laugh loudly if they knew what type of a man Chris was and yet get to hear what the young miss just uttered. if it had never been runah this man would be so clean off in social mutual relations with ladies or any other commoners near him.
That face mark he just gave her, clarified his silence and unsaid reply. ' did I just go way too beyond and far.' her mind whispered..she weakly smiled and shly roamed her eyes "clingy"... that was it...it should be the only reason to his expression right now. so quick witted she catched on too fast to realise what she had said, how could a man like him turn to be clingy to a stranger girl he just met.
"well, I mean .. be..ing..clingy in way like.,..aah. like..." she mumbled between her speech, trying to find a perfect word to match her intention.
"like a good bodyguard," she then uttered sharply and straight then laughed weirdest to herself. yet all In that way, Chris didn't seem gathered to bring his attention. and just as she was about to say something else, her unsaid words ran back to her mind after learning the steps the man had patterned pass her body towards the exist. ' for real, did he just walk pass her and leave her unanswered.' turning her back to fury respond his attitude, she could only get a glimpse of disappearing back. she puffed her cheeks and fitted her hands.
