A message notification just came up on Blake's phone. She immediately get her mobile phone and smiled when she saw the name on the screen. She lay on the bed and replied to the sender.

"How are you? What are you doing?" the text message says

"Nothing. Just lying down on my bed," she replied

"I see. Do you have a copy of our assignment in Chemistry?" another text come in, she is not sure if she has

"I'll check," she replied and she go to her study table where her school bag is and checked her chemistry notebook. She doesn't have notes. She closed her eyes

"No, I don't," she replied in the text

"Just what I thought." the text message says, afterwards she received 3 text messages with the questions of the assignment.

"Don't forget to finish your assignment." the text message added.

"Yes baby," she replied

"Baby my foot haha," the message said

"I'll finish mine. Good luck!" the message added

"Okay, Luv u," she replied

"Luv u too." the last message she received, she smiled and embraced her pillow.

LYKA she said to herself while staring at the ceiling WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU KNEW she closed her eyes ad breathe deeply WILL YOU BE MAD? WILL YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME? A tear fell down her face thinking Lyka will stay away from her and forget all that they've been through since childhood. She doesn't want to waste their friendship. She wiped her tears and went to the study table and look at the picture on the table. I CAN'T LOSE YOU she said and she starts to do her assignments.

Stan went out of the toilet. He just finished taking a bath. He is wiping his hair with a towel. She sits at the study table and looked at the assignments that were laid on the table. He placed the towel on one of the hangers and placed it outside his room on the balcony. He went back to the study table and started to do his assignment when his phone rang. He looked at the phone and wonder why this person is calling

"Hello?" he answered

"Bro, can I go to your place to do my assignment?" said the voice on the phone

"Why?" he asked

"I can't understand the questions on this assignment." said the voice

"What will I get in return?" he asked taunting the voice on the other line.

"Aw, Uhm, what do you want catfish or Tilapia?" the voice asked he laughed

"Just kidding. Come here I will wait for you," he answered

"Promise?" the voice answered happily

"No." he taunts again

"Aw please." the voice pleaded

"Alright, just come okay," he said while laughing

"Okay, you can open the gate now." the voice answered, he stopped all of a sudden and wonder

"You're already outside?" he asked

"Yes before I called you hehe" the voice answered, he ran to the balcony and looked at the gate. And there he is, standing there, wearing stripe T-shirt ad shorts. The guy waved at him and smile. He smiled back and immediately ran downstairs to open the gate. When he opened the gate he saw him smiling.

"Hi." the boy greeted, he smiled and open the gate wider so the boy can enter.

"Come in," he said, the boy walked in and looked at the surroundings

"You have a magnificent house." the boy said in a mesmerizing voice

"Mom is an architect and Dad is an engineer. What do you expect?" he asked proudly, the boy looked at him from head to toe

"Wow." the boy said sarcastically, he smiled

"Let's go in," he said and they met Yaya Tising at the living room.

"Good evening." the boy greeted

"Tammi." she said surprised to see the boy in the house "Good evening to you too." she added

"We are going to do our assignment here Yaya." he said "Can you please get us something to eat while we do our assignment?" he requested

"Sure, one moment." Yaya Tising answered and went to the kitchen.

"Hey, it's nice to have a Yaya just like you," Tammi says and started to place his notebook, books, and Tablet. He sat on the carpeted floor.

"Hey, don't sit on the floor sit on the sofa," he said, Tammi looked at the sofa and the carpet.

"No, I feel comfortable here," Tammi answered and started opening his notes

"The floor is cold," he said again, Tammi looked at him and pointed to the carpet where he is sitting, he shocked his head ad give up

"I'll just get my notes," he said and went up to his room to get his notes, books, and laptop. He closed his eyes trying to calm his trembling heart and went back to Tammi.

They started doing their assignment. Tammi is a good learner, he can easily catch up in everything that he is teaching him. Yaya Tising came in with the tray of cookies, juice, chips and nuts.

"Thank you." Tammi said and he pick one cookie "Hmmm it tastes good." he added and looked at him "What do you call this cookie?" he asked him

"Cookie," he answered taunting the boy

"I mean what kind of cookie is this?" Tammi asked again sounding annoyed, he stopped and think

"Fortune cookie," he said trying to see if Tammi will believe his lie.

"Oh, so this is how it looks like," Tammi said while looking at the cookies, he smiled, HE IS REALLY GULLIBLE he said

"Make a wish," he said and smiled

"Should I?" Tammi asked

"Yes." he answered convincingly, Tammi closed his eyes and start wishing. He started to laugh so hard, that Tammi looked at him with a confused face

"You really believed me?" he said to him, Tammi gets confused more

"What?" he asked him

"You really believed this is a fortune cookie?" he asked him while laughing

"Yes." he answered "Because you said it is," he added, he stopped laughing and picked one of the cookies

"This is a chocolate chip cookie." he answered "Fortune cookie is different." he added, Tammi felt sad and said

"Really?" he said, "I thought my wish will come true," he added and looked at him with an annoyed look, he laughed again

"Why? What did you wish for?" he asked, Tammi looked at him and starts to move towards him slowly, their eyes met "What?" he asked while his heart is beating fast, Tammi just continue to move towards his ears

"Secret," Tammi whispers in his ear and blew it. He pushed him away because it is very ticklish and his heart thumps so fast. Tammi just laughs and pinch his cheek.

"Let's finish this I'm sleepy," he said while his heart still trembling and his hands are cold.

9 PM

They are done doing their assignment and just resting while talking at each other. After a while, Tammi bid farewell because they have a class tomorrow. He walked him to the gate and watched him walk away. Tammi looked back at him and wave his hand. He waved his hand too and went inside. He saw Yaya Tising cleaning the table that they used earlier. He picked up his book, notebook, and laptop and went upstairs. He placed it on his study table and looked at the picture frame. He stared at it, especially the boy beside him in the picture. He smiled and lay down on his bed looking at the ceiling. He holds his chest which is still trembling because of the earlier scene.

The gate slightly made a noise when he entered. He saw his father lying on the sofa on the balcony waiting for him. The balcony is facing his mother's beautiful garden.

"Pa." he said "Why are you outside? Are you not sleepy yet?" he asked, his father looked at him

"I was waiting for you." his father answered, he nodded "Did you finish your assignment?" his father asked

"Yes. I can understand it better now," he answered, his father nodded

"Good. You have a very good friend." his father said and tapped him on his shoulder "Those friends are for keeping." his father added, he smiled at him, "Go, sleep and I'm going to bed too." his father added and went to the master's bedroom. He locked the door and went to his room. He placed his things on the study table and saw the picture in a frame on his table. It's their picture during recognition day last year. He stares at it while smiling FRIEND he said to himself and lay on his bed to sleep.
