As Bernard saw this he looked at the girl before he accepted it, although he was happy there was another opponent that could give him experience points, he still found her suspicious but honestly, he wasn't really too bothered or cared if she had an ulterior motive in choosing to fight him or not.

However, what he cared about was his vampire instincts and what it was telling him, so he was cautious nevertheless he was still going to fight, since this was a game he really had nothing to lose but energy points and even at that he would just need to log eat and would still be able to continue fighting.
