Outside the local base of the Green Devil Cult
Meng Tian was looking at his three blood clones which just finished forming their bodies. He continued with the next step of the skill, where three streams of spiritual sense came out of his glabella, each entering one of the three blood clones. Instantly, he felt four different visions inside his mind.
The three blood clones felt like his own arms and legs and he could use them however he wanted. This was the benefit of the blood clone skill. However, there was a slight disadvantage with it, the blood clone can only operate within the range of the spiritual sense of the cultivator.
And the clones only had raw power without any cultivation. Hence they cannot not use spiritual sense or fly or manipulate qi to attack and defend. But, the blood red runes on their chests enable them to harness the power of the surrounding qi into their bodies, allowing them to automatically exhibit large amounts of power.
At the maximum level of this skill, the clone can use its body alone to show the full strength of the main body. The runes are the core factor for this kind of transformation. But the limit of such strength is currently unknown.
The blood clones can also change their body shape as required by the cultivator at any point of time.
As the blood clone can never be used outside the range of his spiritual sense, Meng Tian began to understand the reason for the existence of the spiritual sense discretization skill drafted in the old parchment.
He observed the three new skills that he obtained from the old parchment and sighed a little. His luck was truly out of this world just like himself.
The Transmogrification skill can literally transform him into anything that he had seen before.
The Spiritual Sense Discretization increases the range of his spiritual sense and tremendously elevates his thought processes and computing abilities.
And Finally, the Blood Clone skill is like a test equipment that he could use to move forward in any kind of a situation without the fear of death. All the three are independent skills but they can complement each other very well and Meng Tian hit the jackpot this time.
This was also his first time obtaining skills which did not have any name attached to a level. All his skills from before had levels named as basic, intermediate, advanced, perfection... These three new skills however had no such indication.
"This parchment has too many secrets. In each of the three skills written down in here, I can only understand a part of the skill. As I continue to level them up, I can understand more of it. I wonder when I can actually completely understand this parchment. Maybe I can find something more after maxing out the three skills... whatever level they turn out to be."
"I wonder where the squad captain got such a wonderful document. Hmm... Can't ask the dead anyway. Looks like my preparations are more than enough to take this place down."
As his Soul was continuing with the addition of all the skills and planning the rescue, Meng Tian was sitting on a tree completely focused on observing each and every movement of the people in the base. His Spiritual Sense was more than sufficient to do this. As he continued with his observation, he suddenly had an idea which immediately started to shape into a nice plan in his mind.
He executed his perfect level Eye of Charm and used his Spiritual Sense to speak into the mind of a normal martial artist stationed at this base. To his surprise, the spiritual sense bewildering fusion worked against him as he was entirely enslaved by it. Inspired by his initial success, Meng Tian then started a mass scale hypnosis using his spiritual sense right from where he was sitting.
It took him mere minutes to completely enslave the entire base except for the sixteen cultivators. There was one drawback for his new method of control, his spiritual sense should be kept in operation at all times for the control to be active.
Cultivators generally are above the normal population in terms of willpower. So, Meng Tian decided to focus the entirety of his remaining spiritual sense threads on those sixteen. He gradually started controlling the ten Martial Apprentices at the Body Forging Realm which concluded quite smoothly.
Then came the five Martial Soldiers at the Qi Condensation Realm just the dead Young Master Diao. This time, however he did put in a little bit of effort as the raging qi inside their bodies proved to be quite a hinderance to execute the remote control of their minds.
At long last, the only one free of Meng Tian's control in the entire base was the Martial Warrior at the Foundation Establishment Realm. He was not entirely confident in controlling him as Warriors had awakened their Spiritual senses and their souls are much stronger. So, he decided to send his three clones into the base.
Luckily, he had three clones at his beck and call, he willed them to change into the three people that he had killed earlier. The clone bodies instantly transformed into Young Master Diao, No.1 and No.2. Each of the blood clones had 40% of his full strength, which should be more than enough to ambush, overpower and swiftly kill that Martial Warrior.
Meng Tian ordered the people present in the surveillance room of the base to completely shut those devices down and only then did he send his blood clones inside.
His three clones walked into the mountain through a hidden passageway covered with bushes all around. None of the people present inside stopped them as they were under his control. This behaviour was also normal due to the current appearances of the three clones.
During the entire process, Meng Tian kept a close eye on the little girl who was kept alone inside a small room under strict surveillance. As the three clones continued walking into the base, one of the cultivators controlled by Meng Tian informed the Martial Warrior of their arrival.
As Young Master Diao's position was special in the cult, he personally went to greet them. He did not know that the entire surveillance system of his base was not functional at this moment.
Just as the Martial Warrior came near them, the three clones moved with lightning speed and three kitchen knives were enroute to be plunged into his neck. The Martial Warrior was instantly alerted by the situation and tried to move away from the trajectory of the weapons. However, another attack hit him that he could not defend against at all.
It was none other than Meng Tian's new remote spiritual sense and eye of charm fusion attack. His spiritual sense directly attacked the soul and the Martial Warrior was only distracted for a moment before the three knives plunged into his neck and moved to completely sever the head from his body.

The entire process was completed within a second of time and peace was restored to the base. Meng Tian ignored the system prompts, and used his three blood clones to find out more about the base and this Green Devil Cult.
Most of the information shared by them was very trivial and was of little use to Meng Tian. However, he continued with his questioning using his spiritual sense to check for lies as well, even though it was not possible for these people to lie to him. Safety first... Always.
He even went inside the record rooms to see if he could get anything more. And he did find something amazing. There was a vault room securely locked deep in the mountain. It could not obstruct the overpowered clones. So, they easily broke inside the vault and took all the items into his consciousness space.
This was possible because of the spiritual sense relay that was controlling the clones. It was pretty easy for Meng Tian's original body to use his spiritual sense to transport the items into his consciousness space. The range within which he could do this was still unknown though. He did not even stop to check what he got.
Meng Tian did not need anything more from the remaining fifteen cultivators. So, he killed them without mercy and took their storage rings. He even stored their dead bodies into a storage ring.
This entire process from entering the base to killing all the cultivators took him only about five minutes. He knew the speeds of the Martial Wargods and even though he did not leave any clues about himself, he still wanted to get out of this place very fast.
