The Will Of Fire

Hokage's office….

"Jiraiya, explain to me what happened." Hiruzen puffed on his pipe as he folded his hands in front of him. When he heard about what was going on, he was at a loss for words.

"I think it would be better to hear it from Yuki than from me. But Hokage-sama, besides you, I think Kakashi should also be here." Since Kakashi had seen the tails and his ability to use the sharingan, it would be good to have him in on the situation as well. At least, this was Jiraiya's way of thinking.

"Then I will have him come as well." Hiruzen took another puff of his pipe before putting it down.

A few minutes later, Kakashi arrived and was now standing next to Jiraiya and Yuki. Hiruzen looked at both Jiraiya and Kakashi before his eyes finally landed on Yuki. "Now then. I am assuming things are not as simple as they seem, so please explain to me what is going on."

Yuki looked at the old man, who was no longer looking at her with a gentle smile but with a look of suspicion, and sighed. "Well, it's like this…."

Yuki told Hiruzen exactly what she told Jiraiya about herself, how she was not from this world, and how she wanted to grow stronger. She explained about the world she used to live in and how being a hero was what she had always dreamt of. She then explained what she knew about what had happened to her, how there was one entity inside her and maybe another. One was a shinigami from a place called the soul society, and the other was a being she did not know anything about. And also explained what happened to her during the battle with the hollow. "I am not sure exactly what the other entity is. I only know that she called herself Khione and that she said something about merging one of her tails into my sword. That is all I know."

After listening to everything Yuki had to say, Hiruzen leaned back in his seat and took another puff from his pipe. "Yuki. I only have one question for you. Are you a threat to Konoha?"

"No." There was no hesitation in her voice. She would never be a threat to anyone except for villains. "I will only ever be an enemy of those who are villains. While this world is not like my old one, where the entire content was under the control of a central organization, I can not say much for the outside world. But Konoha so far has treated me nicely since I came here and as long as you allow me to stay here, I will protect it with my life. My nee-san always told me that your home is the place you should protect the most. Deal with evil how you see fit. But never cross the line that makes a hero a hero and a villain a villain."

"Your sister is wise." Hiruzen once again looked at Yuki with a warm expression. "You will be trained under Jiraiya and will start attending the academy next year. As long as you uphold the will of fire, Konoha will stop at nothing to help you grow. I expect good things from you, Yuki. As for the twenty tail…. Jiraiya, do you think you can seal it?"

"The feeling I got when Yuki's chakra tails appeared was not something I could dare mess with. If it is quiet and willing to help Yuki, then we should leave it be." Jiraiya analyzed the situation well. The twenty tailed beast was able to speak with him while residing in Yuki, which meant that it had no intentions of leaving or doing anything to this world, at least, he hoped.

"Hokage-sama, I have one thing I would like to say. Yuki mentioned a shinigami…." Kakashi picked up on this point. He noticed the word shinigami and knew there was a summon that could also summon shinigami.

"It's not the same." Hiruzen quickly dismissed Kakashi's thoughts. "This Khione would probably not even glance at a summon. Plus, the word soul society has appeared once before in some texts I read once. It did not explain what it was, but it was there. But Kakashi, I am sure you already know, but none of this is to be spoken outside this room."

"I understand." Kakashi was no fool. He understood the implications of it all.

"Since everything is settled, Jiraiya and Yuki should head back…. Well, your current place has been destroyed. It would also not be good if you lived in another building with multiple floors so take the small house next to the academy. It is normally used for visiting guests, but this is more important. It also has a privacy barrier seal." Hiruzen wanted to reduce the chances of another incident like this happening again.

"Then we will be off." Jiraiya picked up Yuki and jumped out the window, and hopped across the rooftops towards their new home. After hearing Yuki's full backstory, he now had a soft spot for the little girl in his arms. "Yuki, The power you used to pick up the rocks that was called psychokinesis?"

"Yes. It ran in my family. I am not sure why I still have it, as it should have been genetic. But I do have it. Although it is still as weak as it always was." Yuki answered with a frown.

"We will figure out a way to train you in everything. As for the shinigami powers that you have manifested. That Rukia girl's soul is still inside you, right?"

"Yes, she was trying to save me when she got hurt. But as far as I can tell, she has merged into me. Although she can not do much except talk to me."

"Then have her help you train your new shinigami powers, and maybe we can work out a way to fuse them all together. But you should concentrate on controlling your chakra first. Once you get a handle on it, then I will not have to worry about you when I need to leave for a while."

"I will follow whatever training you ask of me."
