Chapter 25: Back to the Start
~Albus POV~
At the end I decided to return back to Shion village for a few days or weeks hidden after the whole debacle with Mistral issues as well as the fact Hazel and Grimm are hunting me.
Took a few days off to get what I wanted to do for the time being.
With Hazel actively and Grimm passively searching hiding became a lot harder than it should be.
Frankly I'm still having my head wrap around the idea I somehow managed to avoid that mess.
Oi that was annoying.
But coming to terms of my predicament I made sure to the truck into something livable for me for the time being.
Creating walls of stone certainly helps and digging a whole few foot under neath the ground to hide it from people viewing certainly helps.
Also made some armor created to be some hard stuff used for Greed Ultimate Shield like the sword and some armor plating as well rearranged my clothing reconstructing the clothes into more comfortable forms.
Helps to reuse them.
Sadly though losing my Cursed Energy as well as my Innate Cursed Technique Cursed Restoration was the real bummer as I can no longer continue the usual fast pace means of training but now ordinary means again.
I mean I still have my Water Magic for healing so it's not all that bad honestly.
Healing Magic was the term used when you use it with Water Magic.
The user summons water mana to heal the wounds of themselves and other, however, Healing Magic only affects physical damage.
The spell's power varies by the skill and talent of the individual or partially that of spirit if the caster is using the spell through Spirit Arts. According to Roswaal L Mathers, if an individual has no regard for human life, they're unable to cast Healing Magic as it's a "gentle spell".
Still helps better for me to heal up my torn up muscle fibers whenever I tried to use alchemy on my skin trying to recreate the Ultimate Shield.
Heads up.
It failed horribly that I actually skinned my own arm by accident then used Healing Magic to repair the damages done.
I can see why TRUTH wanted to take away my Cursed Energy because it was the main reason I survived thus far or keeping me alive more often than not.
*Swoosh*
Of course, I haven't forgotten my physical training to unlock my Breathing Styles, Demon Slayer Mark, and Hamon.
I did want to give Spin a shot because it could unlock me a Stand the same with Hamon being a precognitive based one.
But those are really far out of my reach as I now have to rethink the energies have to work on.
That and you need extensive medical knowledge to make Spin work so that's in the shelf for now.
Mana with the six magic elements, Alchemy, and my wits.
Not much now but sacrificing one of them was certainly worth it in my opinion as I had time to divulge myself to remembering everything about Edward Elric experience as well as witnessing the Alchemy used by others to my advantage.
*Clap*
*Zzzz*
Using my alchemy on the sword I began to reconstruct the Ultimate Sword with transmutation emblems and past alchemist Edward has been up against just to help his brother… including the game versions as well.
Take this sword I created with the same alchemic formula used by the Thunder State Alchemist through Edward memory of his Gate feeding the info and know-how with my Ultimate Eye giving me the info about Aston Martins.
Aston Martins is a character that appears in the Game Boy Advance Game Fullmetal Alchemist: Stray Rondo.
Martins was a State Alchemist serving under the State Military of Amestris, having served with distinction and fame as the prominent Thunder Alchemist during the Ishval Civil War.
As a State Alchemist, Martins has a keen understanding of Alchemy, particularly the usage of electricity in combination with his swordplay to attack his enemies.
In battle, he is incredibly skilled with swords, using his alchemy to enhance the cutting power of his blows. He can also fire electricity from his blade and electrocute enemies by impaling them with his sword.
Viewing the fights that Ed has been through with my Ultimate Eye to get a clearer understanding I made sure to keep notes of them using Alchemy to change the trees leaves into paper.
After some trial and error for the last few days I managed to recreate the Thunder Alchemist sword effects whenever I activate my Alchemy on the sword.
*Bzzz*
Electricity used activated the alchemic runes on it as I smirked seeing my Ultimate Sword get the thunder effects added as it shot upward as I admired the handy word, "Whew… this is certainly some amazing work. Took few trial and error but finally made an alchemic weapon. Hehe. Maybe I should go for the Thunder Breathing with this."
Yeah…
That sounds about right with this weapon.
*Clap*
*Zzzz*
*Rumble*
Releasing myself and my homemade truck I began to ride again to Shion Village as soon as possible since I have been quite busy creating the materials and memorizing my alchemic notes to heart.
Spent a few days I could to maximize the much I can after obtaining Edward Gate as my own as I began to experiment more on some Alchemy.
But one thing I have to say about Ed is that he was really determined to go all out searching other forms of Alchemy that could be useful and the one I found most intriguing is Golem Alchemy in one of the game series that I want to incorporate.
Golem, introduced in Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir, are artificially created beings primarily formed from the soil.
Different types of golems could be made for various applications.
The life of a golem could last for just a few hours to several years, but the golem would eventually revert to ordinary soil. They are a creation of the alchemists of Lebis, originally intended to be used as slaves.
As the primary ingredient for creating one was soil, a golem's body was black as lead. They possess a limited level of intelligence, with an ability to grasp basic human speech.
Like homunculi, golems require souls of their own to provide them with animating power, though Jack Crowley animated his golems using the power of the Philosopher's Stone in Lebis.
Golems range from all different shapes and sizes with each form having its own advantages.
Smaller golems have shown the ability to levitate while larger ones are physically stronger.
The larger golems are capable of creating localized tornadoes around their body by spinning. The tornado is capable of thrusting those caught within them back a considerable distance.
Some golems are able to create smaller golem's from their own mass. The size of the golems will normally depend on the size of the originating golem. Golems are also able to transform themselves into a human-like form for the purpose of disguising themselves.
Though this form does not give them any human-features aside from the appearance, as they can be seen through by their lack of human speech and patterns.
A rare ability possessed by some Golems is the ability to project laser beams.
I remember this through Edwards eyes of his memory when he researched Golem Alchemy in real life as I try to find a work around to creating them without the use of the stone maybe it will hold a key somewhere.
Sigh…
Shaking my head and keeping myself down the road I continued onward searching for the signs of life out there and take some Dust here and there from Shion village since encountering bandits is quite rare.
You know when you want bandits to attack you that is a clear sign you have something messed up in the head.
Going around and seeing the village insight I began to come here time to time to buy some stuff mostly fuel for the Truck selling them diamonds and gold to use as I get some Lien from them.
Heh.
Another win for Alchemy is the fact I can transmute these on a daily basis making Gold or Diamonds.
Of course, the people wouldn't have to know that but as I have enough funds with the villagers I already repaid the refugee people in the area by giving them makeshift homes for them to sleep in.
Kind of wanted to because of how they treated me fairly with the info they provided me got me this far in the beginning of my journey.
"Well, well, if ain't mister freak with the eye."
Yeah…
And then there are these assholes.
Racist supremist humans here in the area once I lost the yearning to wear my eyepatch since my eye is essentially iconic now.
No point in hiding it.
Besides it helps me notify who's with the Spiders or criminal groups easier.
Ignoring the fool I began helping the people who are refugee out as they are hesitant and glare at me they were more tolerable to deal with considering my thanks for making them a temporary place of stay out of nowhere.
By this point many more would spread around about a man creating what he needs out of the materials in the area to construct what he wanted would soon spread.
But how else am I going to test out as much as I can.
Sigh…
I should really get my aura open up soon.
"Hey are you listening to me freak!"
"Yawn~ Sorry you say something?"
"Why you ---"
*Zzzz*
*BANG*
Alchemic sparks soon appeared on the ground forming a small cannon shooting out a cannon ball made out of the earth as I give him a warning, "Fair warning. Don't fuck around with me and I don't fuck your life."
Something I figured soon enough I didn't need to clap my hands to activate my alchemy anymore as that was more for Ed style I did to mimic I can basically do by touching simply touching the material after I had time to practice.
But I need to physically touch with my hands like the Overhaul Quirk from MHA as the alchemic energy is transferred through the area of my choice.
Glaring at the guy he backed off in fear as I returned the cannon to normal again.
I swear people really need to move on.
Now that I have my debt with the refugee done with and clearing up as well as paying up for some Lightening Dust for refuel I began to take the ride to Argus.
But first I need to recruit some help Mercury and Cinder would be fine for now or even Mercury for now.
Now then, before going to Argus I'm going to need the go the other way around where there are less people living in the area.
At least though I got the special gloves ready along with success on recreating the Flame Alchemy from memory with some trial and error but good to go.
Time to hit the road.
