Chapter 29: Good Deed

Chapter 29: Good Deed

~Albus POV~

"And… there!"

*Zzzz*

"Whoa! I have my tail again!"

"We can't thank you enough Albus."

"Great to have my ears again."

"The bruises also cleared up."

"We are gratefully in your debt Albus."

Smiling I just finished taking care of the harmed Faunus with their torn animal parts and limbs with the power of the stone and Hamon to heal up any broken bones.

Whew…

Have to say it was a great workout training my Hamon on people but I could do some more practice.

But seeing the happy faces on their faces as well as lending them my clothes that fit them made me feel good doing so.

Now if only I could save more of them…

Shaking my head a bit I began to ask them for any nearby villages for me to drop them off at, "Good. Glad to see you all are in great condition. Now then anyone knows any nearby villages that can help you guys out?"

Hearing my question a few of them perked up at this as they told me that there was a village settlement up ahead of the road I originally planned on going before getting side-tracked saving these folks.

Alright time to help them out.

Tapping my hand on the wall I began to transmute us all a way out as everything around them began to change.

*Zzzz*

*Thud*

Now we are at the outside field of the snow of the surrounding forest area I began to get into the driver seat as some of the Faunus began to settle inside the Truck and a few on the car seat next to me.

*Rumble*

Turning the engine on I began to take them down the ride to the settlement they mentioned away from here as I began to drive us away from here.

/////

*Brrr*

Finally.

Took a few hours but we finally managed to make it back to the village they called it Snowfork Village because it was convenient enough to build their settlement in the coldness of Mistral that usually keeps the warm hibernated portions of Grimm away.

The closer we got to the people station there noticed my vehicle coming towards them as I began to stop in front of them as one of the guards spoke out.

"Halt who goes there!"

"Just couple of passengers that were caught against some Grimm!"

"Hmm…."

"May we inspect your contraband!"

"Sure but I have a guest with me wanting to be dropped off!"

"Very well!"

Like that the two guards began to come around to look at the truck I have seeing the Faunus grouped together while they began to tell their own stories of how I saved them as the guards finally let us inside.

When we did I saw the place was like one of those mountain retreat camps with more lodging for homes made out of wood and some stones made of the homes but more so the wooden walls keeping them safe.

Wonder why people can't just have nice things like creating a stone wall?

Then again building one while in the middle of a monster-infested area would be rather difficult now, wouldn't it?

Shaking my head away from the scene I have better things to do and that's to go for Vale and fuck the Spider plan over as well as maybe get rid or help Roman out.

Considering the fact that Salem managed to use Hazel to lure me once she knew I had magic he made a trap that I couldn't escape as he paid the Spiders to help out.

But the previous info I wanted to ask it's a safe bet that Cinder and Mercury are a lost cause considering the fact that I lost potential recruits to join me glad I didn't say anything about Emerald yet.

Dodged a bullet there.

I do have to consider how Salem will take the info about Roman though?

Hmm…

Nah.

That guy is a pretty hard nut to find even in the series because of his caution towards anything.

Safe bet his safe for personal reasons but still though I do need to get to Vale and fuck the Spider over their operation plan of taking over the Vale Criminal Underworld.

That is just to spite them for helping me get kidnaped.

When the Faunus I rescue was finally safe and began to call for assistance and warning to the human and Faunus settlement in the area they took a very wary face as they began to prepare while I got my truck refueled.

Just as soon as I was done one of the Faunus members I saved came forward as she thanked me personally, "Thank you very much Albus for saving us. Despite the chance encounter, I wish you luck in your journeys."

Turning around I gave a smirk followed by a nod as I began to get inside the truck I spoke to her, "Yeah. I hope you guys take better care of yourselves now. Anyway, I hope you all a good luck."

*Rumble*

Having my supplies refueled and leaving the area I waved back at the Faunus I helped out as I began to leave the area further down the road heading towards Argus City in the Mistral Kingdom the more I go.

Already made some trades with the blacksmiths in the area as they were quite grateful when I gave them fresh supplies of iron ore for them to use in creating weapons and got most things taken care of for the trip.

At least I did a good deed today that has to account for something right?

Well…

I did get the stone so that counts as my good deed for the day.

/////

*Zzzz*

*Thud*

Taking a small break on the road and beginning to build my camp I held the Stone in my hands as I shake my head off the idea for the time being.

I was planning to use the stone to change my biology to have the same capabilities as the Oni Race from Re: Zero because of their useful abilities.

Oni are among the numerous humanoid races that existed in the world, the Oni was considered the mightiest. Their powerful bodies and the potency of the mana quality they employed, both granted the Oni peerless combat strength.

The only visible physical difference between an Oni and a Human was a pair of long curved horns that sprouted from the forehead of an Oni when their lives were in danger. The horns would absorb mana from the atmosphere, greatly increasing an Oni's physical and magical capabilities and providing enhancing boost.

With the number of souls within the Philosopher Stones, I'm not sure how it would work out exactly?

Shaking my head, a bit I began to prepare everything for dinner tonight as I started to begin my normal workout for the day and set up for bath time.

Taking out my Ultimate Sword I began to practice my swings for the future and help maintain my body's physical condition.

You know a strong body and strong soul yada, yada, yada…

*Swoosh*

Swinging my sword in a straightforward motion I began to practice my swings as much as I could.

*Swoosh*

A concentrated strike may one day prove powerful enough.

*Swoosh*

Now time to implement the best method of training for a guy like me.

"Vita."

Ough!

I felt the weight around my body begin to increase on myself as I increased my own gravity using my Vita spell I use this method to train myself constantly to make a well-conditioned body.

Hey if it worked for Vegeta with gravity training then why a normal human can't?

Albeit Yamcha isn't a good example the possibility is still there to enhance my body speed and strength given time.

This is the same exercise I use to train my body along with my Hamon breathing styles as I took in large amounts of air into my lungs.

I must be sure to handle the issues on my own in the future as I have to deal with my own strength first but I also need to increase my knowledge of how this world functions.

*Swoosh*

Taking another swing of my sword I began to consider what I could use the stone on my finger for something to improve my own body or save it in case of an emergency…

Hmm…

The last time I encountered Raven when I didn't have the stone on hand and I don't know how tough she is really in the series against other characters to get a general idea of her level of strength is.

Hmm…

Maybe it's about time I actually form a contract with a spirit then if that's the case.

Better to be safe with numbers since I have the time might as well.

Let's see if any of my web, anime, or manga knowledge would be helpful here…
