Chapter 2

*Third person perspective*

"Call and ambulance! Somebody call an ambulance!"

A boy is leaning over an old man, who has blood pooling around him. The boy is desperately trying to stop the blood from pouring out.

"Somebody help" he screams out again.

*THWIP*

A figure in red and blue spandex lands next to the two persons. He freezes for a second, before applying a layer of webbing over the wound, and putting the man in a sling to be held like a duffel bag.

"G-Good job kid" he says with a slight crack in his voice. He clears his throat before continuing, "Theres a hospital three blocks from here. I'll meet you there."

The figure then leaps in to the air, carrying to injured man in a hammock of webbing and swinging away.

*Peter Parker Perspective*

I landed on the edge of a building.

I dropped off the man at the ER around five minutes ago. The hospital staff said he was going to live, that I saved his life, that I'm a 'Hero'.

I was having a good day.

I got a date with Gwen, the internship at Oscorp has been paying well enough that Aunt May could work part time, she might be able to retire since Dr.Octavius said he'd hire me full time after I graduate next semester and for the past few months, I've only had to deal with petty thugs.

But this...it reminded me of Uncle Ben too much. If I was a hero, I would have done something to make sure he was still alive...

"If you could would you bring him back?"

I nearly jumped off the roof. It had been months since I got sneaked up on, Spidy sense always gave me a tickle even if I wasn't in danger.

'How is this guy even up here', I thought while looking at the new arrival. He was around 6'1",athletic frame and his eyes were...shining, radiating an unsettling blue glow. I could tell he wasn't a normal person. The grocery bag is a little strange though.

A normal person wouldn't be able to sneak up on me and I've been fighting long enough to tell a little about somebody from how they stand, this guy... without the powers, I wouldn't dream of going against him. He looked like he could take of 5 Flashes at once.

"Good afternoon citizen. How can your friendly neighborhood Spiderman help you?"

*Damian Perspective*

Ah Spiderman, our favorite little bundle of self resentment and obligation. I'm sure the incident from earlier must have shaken enough memories to make him malleable, I didn't even need to orchestrate this.

I was coming back from getting food since is seemed that the Agency house didn't come with a stocked pantry, and while coming out from convenience store, who else do I see but the Amazing Spiderman.

"This is not about how you can help me", I began to say, "This is about how I can help you...Peter."

He tenses for a split second, before jumping towards me.

'He's fast', I thought as I ducked a swipe from him, 'Even though he's holding back so much he's still a threat.'

He might not be thinking too clearly after the old man incident, but I have school tomorrow, so I can't waste too much time. I snapped my fingers, causing four lengths of Dandy's silver chain, without the blade of course, to rupture from the ground beneath him.

The chains attempt to bind him, but his spider sense is making things difficult. Annoying, but manageable.

I snapped my fingers causing somewhat of a ripple to appear around the roof of the building. Peter, who had been dodging my chains with ease, suddenly seemed as if he was nauseous.

"Minor spell to disrupt temporal sight", I explained to him as the chains locked him down, "Your Spider sense connects you to the web of time allowing you to see into the immediate future instinctively, and if you had some training, as far as you choose. What I just did was make your spider sense feed you information from past, present and future, while amplifying all of them. You got dozens of 'futures' all at the same time, something that is able to disrupt someone of even your calibre."

The fifth length of Dandy shot out of my palm, the blade present, angled itself for Peter's neck.

"Now mister Parker, may we speak humanely?"

He whispered something I wasn't able to hear clearly.

"Pardon?" I asked

"Please...dont hurt Aunt May."

I couldn't see under his mask, but from his tone, it seemed as if he was about to cry. He thought I was one of his villains, who found out his identity and was about to use it against him. Heh...

Maniacal laughter is good under very few circumstances, and this is not one of them. Peter tried to break free of the chains, but Agency benefits made it literally impossible. Artic Vibranium wouldn't even be able to make this so much as chip.

Still... 17 Tons and increasing was impressive. The agency file (Marvel wiki) stated it was 10 Tons, but if the people recording it had payed attention, they might recall the not so little times when Peter had been able to lift skyscrapers and go toe to toe with the Hulk. He had yet to do so in this world, but his strength should be only slightly lower than his future counterparts.

Ending my laughter, I turned back to the Spiderman.

"Apologies, Mister Parker, that was a bit too funny to me."

I cleared my throat, "As I asked earlier, mister Parker, would you, if you could, bring him back? Would you bring back your uncle Ben?"I asked, as mystic symbols glowing in a variety of colours, materialized in the air around me, distorting space as they did so.

"Would you do so, even if you had to sell your soul to someone arguably worse than the Devil himself?"
