"I still haven't seen any monsters nearby." Carter stopped his steps and breathed deeply.
They were walking around for about 30 minutes already. The only thing that they have seen was the vendors and the shops around the place.
"We need to buy food too or else our hp will decrease after a while," Dandrik reminded them.
Just like in real life, they need to eat in the game. Not eating for 6 hours would decrease their health points except if they're sleeping. And by that, they could die because of starvation.
Carter nodded. They need to kill some low leveled monsters as soon as possible.
"Carter! Dandrik! Come, I heard something on the left side." Joseph shouted that caught both of the man's attention
The three of them quickly run to the left side. It was a small house that looks old and rusty. It was a little bit far away from the stalls located in the opening of the lost village.
"I-Is that a low leveled spider?" Joseph stuttered when they entered the old house.
The inside was dark and dusty, making it harder for the three of them to see clearly. A loud hissing sound resonated in the room.
"What is that?" Carter pointed out.

"Is that even a low-leveled monster?" Joseph asked them in a low voice.
Carter turned around and saw the nervous face of Joseph. "I think so," he responded, almost whispering.
Dandrik slowly grabbed both of the man's wrists. He pulled both of them outside. "We need to plan out first, before going inside again."
Carter nodded. Their voice needs to be as low as possible or the spider might wake up. He used to tease his sister in the past with spiders because he saw it as a harmless being.
Now that he saw a giant one, it seems like his view about them was starting to change. The spider was even larger than the 3 of them combined.
"Since the spider's weakness is its abdomen, then that's the thing that we should prioritize," Dandrik guided them since he knew the most among spiders.
Understanding what Dandrik said, "Let's do that then." Carter uttered after giving it some thought.
"Oh, but what if we can't get past him? What should we attack then?"
Dandrik looked at Joseph as if he said something amusing. "Of course, we attack any part of it.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot," Joseph chuckled.
Carter, who was listening in the side, cautiously checked his stats.

"Nice! Come, Let's kill this monster faster."Joseph excitedly clapped his hands.
Carter and Dandrik nodded. They went inside the house again in silence. Since the spider was still sleeping, they had to be careful as they took a step.
"NOW!" Carter shouted out loud that woke up the spider.
A deafening hiss sound echoed in the whole house. Little beads of sweat started to form on Carter's forehead when he felt that the room became too hot.
Tilting his head to the side, Carter took a deep breath before jumping. He forcefully swung the stick in his hand. The spider shriek in pain from the sudden attack.

He smiled proudly when he saw the decreased hp on the monster. He nodded his head, giving a sign to both Dandrik and Joseph to take action quickly.
Joseph run to the side, gathering the spider's attention. Because of its size, the spider was slow in walking giving them more advantage.
Dandrik forcefully threw his wooden stick in the air. The stick quickly flew until it hit one of the spider's legs.

Carter didn't wait for a chance. When he saw that the spider stopped because of his friend's attack, he slowly run to the right side and struck one of the spider's legs using the wooden stick in his hand.

The spider's eyes quickly shifted their glance. It opened its mouth revealing a large white web that they successfully managed to avoid. The spider's legs hurriedly went in Carter's direction making the man widened his eyes.
"Oh shi…" Carter twirled backward and threw his stick right in the spider's eyes.

Dandrik went in front and did the same thing. His gaze was focused on the spider's eyes.
"Joseph attack the other side! I will attack in front!" Carter yelled before running at full speed.
The three attacked continuously. They were in sync with each other, as if they all had the same mind.
But they didn't saw how one of the spider's legs slowly went in Joseph's directions.

Joseph closed his eyes from the impact. "I'm alright, don't worry!" He yelled out loudly.
Without any doubts in his mind, Carter sprinted to the side. He used the old chair in the middle to assist him in jumping out higher. He closed his eyes and gathered out his remaining strength.
It was the same for Dandrik and Joseph, who were both trying their best to hit the spider's abdomen.
Because of their low stats, their strength was now slowly fading away. The three of them knew that they were already near their limitation. And if they will not kill the spider in a minute, their life will be at stake.
"GO!" Carter shouted. He opened his eyes and vigorously threw the stick on the spider's eyes. Dandrik and Joseph both did the same thing when they heard Carter's assistance.
The two of them both gathered their strength before running at full speed. They quickly swung their sticks and repeatedly hit the spider's leg as they skillfully avoided all the spider's attacks.
