When Carter didn't know what to do in his free time, he decided to skim over his stats. His brows formed a straight line when he saw another name at the very bottom.
"Hair Collected?"
His eyes wondered at what will be the hair's use for him. He opened the help bar and searched for 'What is the use of hair in the game?'.
[Hair is a special and valuable thing in the game that can only be accumulated through ranking up. The more hair a player has is equivalent to the more advantages that he/she will have.]
An unknown voice coming from a man explained on his head while words flashed on his screen.
"That only?" With furrowed brows, Carter tried to scroll more, but it was already the end of the explanation. 'The system didn't even explain what the advantages are!'
Annoyed at it, Carter closed the help button and clicked his stats once again. 'What a useless search bar,' he thought.
When Carter remembered that he still had stat and skill points left, he decided to just use them instead of wasting his time now that he's free.
He decided to place 5 of his stat points on his strength while he gave one each to the remaining 3.
"Haha, my strength now is surely strong." Carter laughed as he opened the skills tab.
[Skill: Air steps]
[Description: Movement speed will increase by 50% for 10 seconds.]
[Mana cost: 10]
[Cooldown: 1 minute]
[Would you like to unlock it?]
[Skill: Stone Wall]
[Description: Once Stone Wall is triggered, you can use it to protect yourself from any damage. The enemies' damage will decrease by 75% for 30 seconds.]

[Would you like to upgrade it?]
[Skill: Fire knuckles]
[Description: Deal 50% more damage to enemies for 5 seconds. If the player is not hit by any damage for 5 seconds, then the next attack will deal 75% more damage.

Since he already had the 2 others, Carter clicked the unlock button on the air steps. He now wondered why was there no new skill on the tab.
[Would you like to unlock Air Steps?]
"Yes," Carter nodded.
[Congratulations! You have unlocked Air steps]

Carter went back and thought about what skill to upgrade. Since all of his skills are just level 1, the upgrade would only cost 1 skill point. Of course, it would eventually cost more once the level increased,
"Should I upgrade Fire Knuckles or Stone Wall?" He asked himself.
Since Carter found the two skills more helpful, he contemplated what to upgrade between the two.
If he upgrades Fire Knuckles, then his damage will surely increase once he activates the skill. While, if he chooses the latter part and upgrades Stone Wall, then they will have more protection that can tank other's damage.
Founding it hard to choose from the two, Carter decided to use a special tool that could help him decide. A special tool that was rare and unique! And what's more? You could only see it here.
Carter slowly moves his fingers from the bottom to the top with his closed eyes. He increased its speed while reciting, "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe."
The man chanted it a few more times with the help of a special tool called a moving finger.
"Fire Knuckles, it is," he smiled when he saw that his finger was on top of the word after opening his eyes.

Excitedly, Carter quickly clicked the yes button, which led to another notification.
[Congratulations! Fire Knuckles has leveled up.
[You have been rewarded 10 exp for upgrading your skill for the first time.
"Woah! I will level up faster at this rate!" Carter stated in the air. After having 50 exp earlier, he got another 10 just right now making it 60 in total. He just needs to have 90 more to be level 6.
When everything was done, Carter decided to look at his stats one more time to make sure that he had already done everything that needed to be done.

"It seems like everything is done," Carter uttered in a loud voice.
When he was done, he closed the screen in front of him. Carter managed to clean his bed first before lying down again to finally rest and sleep.
Raising his right arm, Carter punched the air with full determination. "Level 6, here I come!"
