New Year: Part 2

We watched the fireworks in awe and before we knew it we we're in the new year. A fresh start to my life. We we're in U.A. this year and for the next three years I would be found training as a beginner hero with Kacchan.

I felt arms close around my waist, and then slip under my shirt. "K-Kacchan-" I stuttered. He started tracing my scars. "You're beautiful Izuku. You deserved so much better from my side rather then getting bullied." he said.

We reached home at two in the morning, and surprisingly our parents were still up partying for the new year. Before we opened the living room door I asked him if we should tell them we're dating. Kacchan nodded. We were ready to tell them. I opened the living room and they noticed us and pulled us into the main part of the living room.

Music was blaring through the speakers and then I grabbed hold of the speakers cable before pulling it out. "Aunt Mitsuki... uhhh... I'm gay. I've been dating Kacchan for a year now. We just wanted you to know."

The silence was so loud. They were staring at me. I was shrivelling up and before that I fell down to my knees. "Welcome to the Panic Room. Where all your darkest fears come true." the voice rang inside my head. I felt arms wrap around my chest before I was heaved up and pulled out the room and upstairs. As I was pulled upstairs I felt tears fall down my cheeks.

"I know I can survive. I've walked through hell to save my own life. I wanted to end it so bad.. I did everything I can.. Another year bites the dust... I'm doing the best I can... They've not broken me... I'm still out here fighting for peace..." I said to myself in my head. Kacchan pulled me up off my knees. "What the hell happened down there?" He said. "Are you okay?".

At those words every plug in my body was released and I felt my body drain out in tears and screaming. "Oh shit.." Kacchan said, turning off the lights. "Let's get you out of these clothes." he said before grabbing hold of my PJ's and taking off my blazer, tuxedo shirt, trousers.

I pulled on my shorts and t-shirt. "What am I doing wrong.." I said. "I've tried everything to save my life from being engulfed in darkness." I said. "I know you can survive Izuku. Trust me."

I went into the bathroom to wash my face and Kacchan went downstairs to grab a bite. I heard the door creak open and I turned around it was Aunt Mitsuki.

"I apologise for not saying anything about you dating our son." "We were shocked." said Masaki. "I know you guys were shocked. I saw it on your face but I hope you're not homophobic." I said, wiping my face with a towel.

Kacchan was behind them. "In fact I'm bisexual mum." Kacchan said. "I figured it out yesterday. I used to like girls but now I like him." He said, his voice slightly cracking. "We never said you'd have to be straight Katsuki." they both said. "We love you two either way."

They hugged me first, then Kacchan. "Oh and since it was your 18th birthday last year. Katsuki has a present downstairs in the light green balloon downstairs. You'll need a pin to pop and see the present." said Mitsuki. They left and went into their room. Kacchan chuckled. "I want to see your reaction when you see the gift."

We walked downstairs and into the living room, where a single green balloon was weighted to the ground and then, a small pin beside it. "Ready?" he said. "Ready." I popped the balloon and a turquoise green emerald and silver ring fell out and as realization hit me, I turned around to see Kacchan on one knee.

"I know I'm not all romantic and shit, but will you be my boyfriend?" he said. I slid the ring onto my ring finger and then I ran into his arms and we both crashed down to the floor laughing. "Yes I'll be your boyfriend."

The next day came in with a flash. I buttoned up my shirt, pulled my tie, pulled on my blazer, trousers and boots. I looked in the mirror and scanned the new pristine uniform I had. Kacchan was wearing his U.A. uniform as well. We pulled on our satchels and walked downstairs for breakfast, only to finish as we heard the U.A. bus roll up into our driveway. We got onto the bus and sat down, I shared my earphones with Kacchan and we rolled onto the highway for the first day of hero training school.
