Adult Life Part 2

I walk into the living room and it's scarcely decorated. It has a window nook with cushions and blankets, and the living room has a big circular sage green carpet, situated under the white velvet couch. Across the wall there are two flags. A gay flag and a bisexual flag.

There are victorian style bookshelfs with stacks of my favourite literature. I scour the shelves. I have the entire Seaside Stranger series, Heartstopper series, Junjou Romantica series and Solitare.

I look up, there are vines hanging down from the top of the shelves each slightly covering my book collection. I look outside. It's raining. The sun is setting and the rest of the world comes alive. I change into a pair of pajamas.

I enter the room and Kacchan is sitting in the bed and reading a book all duck-down in blankets. He presses a button on an remote. It shuts all curtains around the house.

I lie down, exhausted and fall asleep.

Four months have passed and the baby bump has grown. I'm expecting the delivery soon. I have been checking in and out with my doctors. We have a nursery room at home set for when he or she comes in. I reckon its a she.

I'm at home working, since I can't fight and a feel a kick. Kacchan isn't home. He's at work fighting. I feel another kick. I feel wetness around my chair and then excruciating pain.

I groan in pain, grab my phone which was nearby and call triple zero. I tell them I'm im labour. I tell them the adress and then after fifteen minutes I hear sirens. People in white suits run in with a stretcher and carry me onto the stretcher and into the ambulance.

I hold their hands the whole way. We reach after half an hour and they push me to the intense labour ward. I get laid down, and with Aunt Mitsuki nearby and with her support I deliver the baby in really heavy pain.

The baby comes out crying. The nurse carries it and walks off to wash it as Aunt Mitsuki squeezes my hand. I sighed in relief.

As the nurse walks off, someone with blonde hair, red eyes and a surgeon coat runs into the room and then hugs me so tight when he reaches me.

"I heard and I came as fast as I could" he said. "Our child is out, and it's getting cleaned" I said. At that moment the nurse walks back in carrying our baby. "It's a girl!" she said.

I smiled. She hands me our child and I slowly rocked it back into sleep. "She's got blonde hair just like you Kacchan" I said. "She has dimples and freckles" he said.

After an hour or so, it woke up. I was hit with a fiery hue of ruby red. "Your eyes, your hair, my freckles and no one's dimples" I said. "I name her Kimi Bakugo-Midiyora" I said. He nodded with tears in his eyes.

I get pushed around in a wheelchair with Kimi in my hands and then carefully, I siddle into the car and sit down, then buckle her in the baby seat. "You brought her pacifier right?" I said. Kacchan handed me her pink pacifier and I put it in her mouth. She slowly fell asleep.

I sighed. I finally had my own child. Kimi. The meaning of Joy. We reach home after half an hour. I open the car and attach the handle onto the seat carrying Kimi into the house. "Welcome home Joy" I said before opening the door, closing it and carrying her to the nursery.

I place her in the rocking cot after changing her clothes and fixing a nappy. I shut the door before nudging her bed and it slowly rocked her to a deeper sleep. I

shut the lights and turns on my wind-up lamp, which shows images of unicorns and clouds on the rooms walls and then I shut the door, walk into the bedroom, change and fall asleep waiting to see how she looks like in the future...
