Did you like the wig?

She took a deep breath, she knew she wouldn't have much time to get out of that building.

It would take the security cameras at least two minutes to fully activate.

Preferably she should use the stairs, so the seconds were numbered.

The lights gradually started to come on and Mark was making a small countdown so that Hyejin remained aware of everything that was happening.

The data was quickly collected and the man next to Hyejin didn't even suspect, it was so fast that he didn't even see any movement different from her as he was too focused on organizing his equipment to be able to leave that room.

At the end of the seconds Hyejin stretched her arm as if trying to stretch her muscles and finally grabbed the flash drive. She just needed to get away.

Meanwhile, on the ground floor, a cluster of employees was present, desperate for the elevator to work again.

Eunji watched that chaos with disgust, she was in a bad mood.

She glanced at her watch and it was almost time for her meeting with Chinese clients.

She approached her secretary and whispered. "Is the power back yet?"

"Yes, only the elevator is not working properly."

She sighed wearily, there wasn't much to be done. "Come on Junseo, let's take the emergency stairs... I'll buy you a coffee as a reward."

The man looked at his boss a little in disbelief, there were many flights of stairs, but he as a good order taker nodded and followed Eunji up the stairs.

The building was tall, huge, one had to be really out of it or in a big hurry and Eunji was in both situations.

First, she hated that Hyejin was ignoring her, why the hell was that girl trying to play the hurt girlfriend? She'd been hired for one night and got paid for it, there was nothing to think about.

Eunji was truly annoyed with the whole situation, yes, the sex was great.

Well, better than great. But Hyejin was not only ignoring her, she didn't even show up at Mi Joo's bar, it wasn't rational or understandable what that girl was trying to do.

But damn, the sex was too good, Eunji wanted more, but not even messages from her were seen.

Second, the meeting was very important for business and it was the first big deal and Eunji, she would even go to a marathon to get there on time.

The more they climbed the stairs the angrier they got.

Junseo was distressed by Eunji mumbling something about one Hyejin.

He couldn't even understand what was happening, but something was definitely happening.

At one point they started to hear a group coming down the stairs as they went up, Eunji soon saw that it was the employees who took care of the electricity.

Everyone was chatting happily, but one person in particular was silent and even though she couldn't see her face, she looked so familiar.

She felt curious.

She took hold of the girl's wrist, which was so familiar to her.

Hiejin felt her wrist tighten and her heart even missed a beat.

Her skin was soft, yes... Despite not seeing anything, she just stared at the floor in the hope that no one could clearly see her face next to her cap.

But she knew it was Eunji holding her.

Even the perfume she exhaled in the environment was that of that woman.

She was irritated to recognize so easily that this woman was young Kim.

Damn, the last thing she needed was for Eunji herself to recognize her.

But the movement was abruptly interrupted, Eunji was pushed by another employee who lost balance, descending with the numerous toolboxes she held in her arms..

He quickly placed the boxes on the floor and bowed apologetically.

"I apologize... I didn't mean to... Did I hurt you?"

Eunji faced the stairs and didn't see any sign of the woman anymore, she turned her gaze to the man and just smiled kindly. "It is not alright..."

The electricians went on their way and Eunji stood briefly watching them descend the stairs.

How had the woman just disappeared like that?

She brought the hand that had just touched the other woman and a sweet smell was still there... Yes, it looked like Hyejin's scent.

Heavens, she was bordering on madness.

Eunji sighed feeling more annoyed than before, what the hell was that? Was she hallucinating that woman?

Young Kim would put it in her mind once and for all... Women she could have whenever and as many as she wanted, it didn't matter if they were Hyejin or not.

If she exploded, it wouldn't matter.

She took a wet tissue that she carried with her in her bag and quickly wiped her hand, she didn't want any traces of that perfume.

"Junseo, did you do what I asked about the adoption center?"

Eunji took advantage of the fact that they were completely alone on that staircase.

The secretary sighed wearily and nodded. "Yes, they will do what you asked."

She smiled feeling victorious… "Fine, make the transfer on behalf of the charity and say the Kims just want to be able to help everyone whoever they are."

Since Donghae wanted to know where he came from, he would find out.

In the worst way.

Eunji stopped abruptly after a few steps and stared at Junseo, the poor guy could feel his legs shaking. "Oh, get this thing sorted out about the elevators, I don't come to work to do weight training... Get this sorted out today."

He sighed in relief, for a second he thought she was going to order something more complicated.

The elevator thing would definitely be resolved later that day.

"Yes ma'am."

Eunji made her way to her meeting room up the stairs and Hyejin continued down.

She didn't just go down the stairs, she jumped the steps, she ignored them and ran desperately.

She didn't even want the other employees to notice her presence.

"Mark, let the boss know the group that I was called at the last minute for another job, I need to get out of here as soon as possible… Eunji almost saw my face."

Mark didn't say anything and Hyejin just listened to the frantic sound of his computer keys, he ran to do exactly what she wanted.

Hyejin ran, she ran to the point her lungs hurt. Hell, that couldn't have ended too badly.

Her heart was racing so fast she felt like she was about to burst.

Hyejin ripped her clothes off and put them in some trash can, poorly lit and there was no sign of any security cameras. She set fire to leave no trace.

She walked a few more blocks until she felt safe to take a taxi and go to the shed where her motorcycle was.

"Today was really intense… Did you like the wig?"

Hyejin rolled her eyes and laughed, she was really tense with the whole situation. "Red didn't seem like a bad choice."

Mark laughed, feeling satisfied.

Red was definitely a good color.
