"Let me warn you, Luke. If you think Miss Valerie is a common celebrity that you can munch off because she saved your life, and took you in, then you better have a rethink. Forget about driving lessons, or snatching her from Blake because you can never be who she wants. After the Givenchy, you should leave as abruptly as you arrive."

I stared coldly into Lydia's eyes upon hearing her words. I still couldn't believe that Valerie had been ignoring me because of Blake.

Smiling emotionlessly. "Valerie is not a woman that Blake or any other men can have. She belongs to me only." My eyes never left Lydia's as I let the words sink into her head.

"Yours only?" She scoffed, "this is the most ridiculous declaration I've ever heard." Lydia stood up and walked a few steps away from me.
