When I found out from Coal that The Third Prince wasn't interested in this so-called forced engagement, I hadn't believed her. Until he said so himself.

"Since you also have someone you are looking for, why don't you just put a stop to this madness?" I threw a question at him before slicing the sausage on my plate.

He stiffened and looked away. "I didn't say I have someone in my heart." he cleared his throat awkwardly.

I paused my lip and gave him another confused look. Have I misheard him? Didn't he say he was looking for someone?
