When Luke said the effect of the full moon was getting to him in the human world, I didn't understand what he was saying and I had jokingly asked if he was in the heat or something until he suddenly snarled in pain and jerked out of the bed.

My eyes widened and instantly dropped in shock when I saw his paws poking out as he whined in discomfort.

He was about to shift! My brain yelled to me when I instantly recalled that Lydia was on her way to the hotel and this would be a whole disaster if she saw Luke in his werewolf form.

"What is happening? LUKE! you are shifting. Lydia will be here anytime, you can't!" I cried out, my gaze on him as my chest panged with anxiety and shock.

I was so stunned by his unforeseen transformation but I was more in shock that he was going through so much pain because it wasn't like this the first time. He wasn't screaming in pain like this when I first met Fuzzy Gray.
