Vivid thoughts and imagination

Luke

It had been a few hours since I arrived at the Vidin's palace and to be candid, I haven't witnessed anything strange aside from the fact that the royal maids, guards, and everyone in the palace seemed to be minding their own business for whatever.

It was hideously quiet. No laughter, no loud interaction or chatters. Nothing,

The whole palace was quieter than a graveyard and I began to wonder if this was really the palace that I had matched on my phone when they were celebrating Silas's coronation Gala.

Darn.

That even seemed like a year ago when it had just been three days.

I couldn't believe it had been three days ago since I thought Valerie had abandoned me, but in reality, she was held up here against her will and forced to marry a strange prince.
