THANK GOODNESS, HIS EYES ARE CLOSED

~Presently, inside Olivia's bedroom~

Olivia stepped out of the bathroom, her hair dripping wet from the shower she just took and a small, white towel wrapped around her body. She almost forgot she was now sharing her room with a man and he was probably sitting on her bed, and will possibly see her once she stepped out of the bathroom. But thankfully, he was lying flat on the bed with his back against the bed and the back of his palm lazily resting on his face, with his eyes closed as usual.

"Thank goodness, his eyes are closed." She let out a sigh of relief before speaking.

She walked quietly towards her dressing room with her hands tightly strapped on the small towel covering her naked body.

"I'm guessing you are done with whatever you were doing in there?" Jason's voice echoed in her eyes, causing her to freeze for a moment.

"Mmm…" She made a small sound before dashing into the dressing room.

After a short while, Jason got off the bed and made his way to the bathroom for a quick shower. While Jason was having his bath, Olivia came out of the dressing room, wearing a white crop T-shirt and black track shorts with fluffy flip flops.

Grabbing the TV remote, she sat down conformably on her bed, switching the channel to her favorite show which will start in the next two or three minutes. After successfully changing the channel, something suddenly popped in her head.

"Ahh…. I have to go all the way to the last floor just to get a bag of chips." She complained, lazily getting more comfortable on the bed.

"Well, there is still a minute to go before the show starts." She said as she immediately got off the bed and hurried out of the room to get the bag of chips.

Upon getting back to her room, she finds Jason on the bed with the remote control in his right hand as he seemed to be enjoying whatever was displaying on the screen.

Her grip on the bag of chips tightened as she came across what was showing on the TV screen, a boxing match.

"What the hell is this, why did you change the channel to this?" She asked, making her voice a bit louder, obviously disgusted by what she was seeing.

"What does it look like?" Jason answered with a question.

"Well, so sorry to disrupt your match but I have a show to watch." She spat out, attempting to drag the remote control from his hand but his grip on it was too tight.

"Let go of it, now." She hissed at him, still trying to pull the remote control from his hold.

"Why, there was no rule stating that I was restricted from using the TV at a particular time." Jason reminded, still holding on to the other end of the remote control, firmly.

"Why didn't I add that to the rules?" She asked herself, giving him a hard glare.

Jason was actually used to having people fight with him when it came to watching the television and also, this particular 7:00pm show to be precise. He had the same issue with Jimmy and Raphael when he used to live in his aunt's house, with Ryan also and now, Olivia. He never really understood what many people found so interesting in the show, he had once tried to watch it and he found it disgusting to watch.

When Jason was still a little kid, he used to watch how his uncle, George, enjoyed the game of boxing. He would secretly join his uncle in watching a series of matches and as time went by, he developed the habit of watching it often. Most of the time, he would imagine himself and his father having a fight where he would end up beating the life out of his father. Given the fact that he had never seen his father before, not even a photo of him, he imagined his father to be an older version of himself with little differences. As years went by, he grew fond of watching boxing matches even when he wasn't thinking of his father.

"As you can see, Jason. I am fully prepared to watch the show and you're not going to ruin my mood because of this, so, just hand it over." She demanded, struggling to pull the remote control to herself.

"Stop squeezing too tight, or else you will end up destroying it." Jason said casually, holding the remote control firmly but not too tight.

"And what if I end up destroying it, I can always get another one." She said, throwing him a fake, sarcastic smile.

"Fine . . ." He loosened his grip on the remote control causing Olivia to finally have it all to herself.

"This doesn't mean I will go easy on you next time by voluntarily letting you have it." He warned, in a flat but promising tone.

"There won't be a next time." She assured him, a small smirk flashing across her face.

Olivia was finally able to enjoy her show peacefully while Jason sat quietly on the bed, scrolling through his phone with a bored look on his face.

After a long while, Jason fell asleep thinking of how his life is going to be now that he was living with the Smiths. He wondered how the remaining day would be like for him and what Henry's real plan for asking him to move in with them was. Meanwhile, Olivia was seated in a corner at the other end of the room, her head buried in whatever she was doing, creating a sketch of Jason's face when she saw him laugh for the first time during the dinner they had a few days ago. It took her a while to get the sketch right since she had a hard time remembering in full details, but eventually she got a sketch that she was satisfied with.

"Ahhh…." She yawned, using the back of her palm to cover her mouth while stretching her other hand in the air, obviously exhausted.

She gathered all the things she used in creating the sketch and kept them neatly and then went to bed, taking her new position on the right side of the bed.
