THIS OR THIS?

"This is a business outline consisting of all Aemia's sales, investments, profit per year, losses, assets, e.t.c and everything concerning the company." Henry stated as he stretched some documents in a folder towards Jason.

"I want you to study them carefully, take your time to study each and every one of them, let me know when you are done." He added, placing the documents in Jason's hand.

"Okay, how much time do I have to study them?" Jason asked as he collected the documents.

"As long as you like, but don't take too long, there is not much time to waste." Henry replied as he went through some other documents on his table.

"Okay, I won't take too long with it, I will let you know once I'm done." Jason said in his usual flat tone but not rude in any way.

"Good, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me or you can ask my wife if I am not available, she has full knowledge about the family business and I'm sure she will be willing to help you if needed." Henry finally dropped the documents in his hands as he paid full attention to Jason.

"Sure." Jason said shortly.

"Okay, that's all, you can go." He said as he returned his attention back to his table occupied with all sorts of documents, he was obviously very busy.

"Mmm… Okay." Jason left the study immediately, he could see how busy and occupied Henry was at the moment.

Behind every successful man is a great woman as the saying goes. And behind the famous, prominent Henry Smith is his wife, Evelyn, a great woman. Everyone knew the story behind the success of Aermia and it was a story to admire.

Many years ago, after Henry was announced as the official Ceo of Ercon, which is now known as Aermia, after his late father's dismissal. As a young man, who recently got married and had less interest in businesses despite studying and preparing his whole life for that day when he will finally take over the company, he wasn't still ready for such a position. Just when he was starting to get used to the new phase of his life, an emergency came up, an emergency that caused him to leave the country with his wife. He was forced to leave the company in the hands of his brother, Michael Smith, who ended up running down the family business with losses. During the period of time Michael ran the company's affairs, he did some terrible things that caused a lot of damage to the company and its reputation. Henry found out that under Michael's supervisor, cheaper materials were been used in the production of the perfume which caused harm to the skin of the people who purchased them at that period, because of this, the reputation of the company was tarnished and they incurred a lot of losses and also lost a lot of buyers and their employee.

Evelyn also found out about the terrible incident and came up with a solution, the only option they had actually. Even if she never loved him back then, she couldn't let her husband's reputation go down the drain. Since almost all the scientists they had working on the perfume substances ended up leaving because of the scandal that occurred, Evelyn decided to put all her years of studying botany to practice. She worked with the few scientists left and they were able to produce better perfume substances. Even if they had to sell it at a cheaper rate in order to get local buyers, they ended up getting the company back on its feet successfully. The company was back on the track in no time all because of Evelyn's effort and then they had the company's name changed to Aermia which was named by Evelyn herself.

. . .

After leaving Henry's study, Jason went straight to the room, not expecting Olivia or Evelyn to still be at the table. Upon entering the room, he saw various dresses placed in every angle of the bed, from black to red to blue and other colors. A faint line appeared between his brows as she walked towards the bed.

"Hey … ahmm, what did dad give to you?" Olivia asked as she walked out of the dressing room with two sets of dresses in her hands.

"He gave me a business outline of the company, he wants me to study them." He answered, looking at the dresses in her hands.

"Ohh, so soon. I really don't understand my parents these days. Is he planning to make you CEO already, I thought he didn't trust you." She blurted out casually.

"I didn't expect it either." He said honestly, it also came as a surprise to him.

"Good luck with that. Anyway, which do you prefer, this or this?" She asked, raising the two dresses on the air.

" . . ." Jason ached his left brow at her, looking a bit confused, but he didn't make it too obvious.

"What, I'm having a hard time making a choice here, so maybe you have to help me out." She said to his face.

" Err. . . This looks better to me." He replied, rubbing the back of his neck, he obviously had no idea as to which was better so he decided to go with the color he loved best, black.

"I had the same thing in mind, thanks." She said with a wide grin on her face.

"Mmm…" He made a short sound and made his way to sitting at the edge of the bed while Olivia assembled the rest of the dresses on the bed and took them to the dressing room.

Time was going by slowly and the only way to pass out the time for Jason was to start up with the documents Henry gave to him. On the other hand, Olivia was having a fun time having her nails done by herself. She was not the type of girl to depend on helpers to get everything done for her, she enjoyed doing things by herself.

"Wooh, wooh …. " She used her mouth to blow lightly on her nails. She applied some more nail polish to her nails and repeated the blowing continuously.

After making sure the nail polish was dried enough, she admired the nails for a while and then she stood up and went into the dressing room, coming back outside in a robe.

"Ahhh…. " She sighed out loudly as she picked up a makeup brush after sitting on the chair facing her dresser.

Olivia didn't waste any time while getting her makeover done, there was not much to do anyway, she just needed her red signature lipstick, powder to brighten up her face and eyeliner to make her eyes pop. Once in a while, Jason would take a glimpse of what she was doing, watching her perform her magic in front of the mirror.

Eventually, Olivia got dressed in her all black outfit, from her long leather heel boots to her Chanel bag to her baggie coat which was accomplished with a mini, body strap gown and a beret. This just raised unnecessary curiosity in Jason, there was a certain urge to ask but it was not of his business so he kept quiet after seeing her all dressed and ready to go out.

"Since you are heading out, maybe you can drop me off, I have somewhere I need to be at." Jason informed as he saw her grabbing a set of keys.

"There is no need for that, you can just asked Leo to drop you off or else you want to ride with me in my motorbike." She said as she looked at herself in the mirror once more.

"Motorbike?" Jason questioned, he had no idea that Olivia had a motorbike.

"Yeah, and I'm sure you don't want to go with that." She added.

"Can I ask the driver who brought me here yesterday to drive me?" He asked.

"Sure, you can tell him." She answered as she fixed her hair with her hands.

"Okay." He said, putting the documents away.

"I have to go now, see you later, bye ." She said, putting on her shades as she exited the room majestically.
