**Ch 18: Out the Window

"Shut up and listen!" Kai spat in my face.

Something about his breath breathing on me was pleasurable, but I was terrified and couldn't stop my body from shaking underneath him, yet I also smelled blood on him, which horrified me.

"You are no longer Orlando's!" Kai strictly debarred me. "As I said, you are forever mine!"

My breath was heavily panting beneath his brawny muscles as he grinned evilly. "Now you are to sit down and eat, or else if you keep this disobedience, I'll have to punish you by tasting those beautiful lips. I'm sure once I kiss you, you'll find me irresistible."

"You wish," I challenged.

What I said was daring, but I said it anyway. That grin on him grew more sinister. He led his lips to my left ear, where I could feel his breath tickling me.

"Will see about that, darling," Kai whispered seductively, and then he blew into my earlobe.

Goosebumps waved up my body. I tried not to feel affected by him, but I'd be lying if I didn't inwardly admit he made my body feel hot. Nothing got fairer when I felt his teeth nibble my ear.

"Ahh," I whispered with an involuntary moan.

Without meaning to, my right leg lifted from hanging off the side of the seats. I couldn't prevent myself from reacting. He sucked on my earlobe, and then his nose trailed down my neck. I could feel his breath fanning the bare flesh of my throat. His breathing suddenly turned into this sexy-like hissing. Raw moans softly slipped past my parted lips. My eyes closed while my body screamed for him to touch me. Before I realized it, my face slanted to the right as his sexy hissing-like breath consumed me with lust. I felt his mouth loosen before his tongue licked up the side of my neck side.

"Ahh!"

Another restraining groan gasps out, and my toes curl. What is happening to me? I was under some sort of seductive spell. From over the top of his pant leg, my knee bent upward when my left foot crawled up his calf. My body writhed, feeling hot for him. Then I felt what feels like sharp teeth, pressing down into the fluttering pulse on my neck.

"Kai!" Ace yells loudly, pulling me back to my senses, and my eyes open to notice Kai facing Ace directly with his lips flattened. "You made your point, now let her eat. She needs the nutrition, or else she'll get sick."

I was shocked to hear Ace express this so boldly in an authoritative way to his boss. More interestingly and surprisingly, Kai got up, and gently pulled me onto my jello feet. My body quivered, so he helped me sit at the bar. Then he sat across from me and poured himself a full glass of that darker red wine. Furthermore, shockingly, he chugged it down in one loud gulp. Then he refilled the glass and took smaller sips.

Meanwhile, my mind felt gooey, and I couldn't think straight. Why did I respond to him like that? Sad to say, but I wanted him to continue, and I wanted to kiss him. I couldn't comprehend why. Nor did I understand how that happened. Like I was hypnotized or in some kinda trance.

After I ate, Ace took me down the hallway to this bedroom. It wasn't big, but I was given comfortable clothes to sleep in. The second I hit the bed, I crashed.

~~~
Ace sat across from Kai at the bar, telling him. "That was too close."
"I can't help it," Kai replied coldly, not caring to hear it.
"I know." Ace sighed. "Remember, she's fragile right now."
Kai didn't remark. There was nothing he could argue. Deep inside, he was disheartened at the poor choices he made. Now he has to be the one to make things right. That burden weighed on him heavier than the depths of the sea crushing him. Kai made a mess of things, and he knew it. And it didn't help that every painful teardrop Victoria cried had killed him too.
Knock! Knock! "Wake up, Princess. Will be landing soon." I woke up to Rome's annoying voice. My eyes felt achy and sealed shut, but I fought to break my eyelids apart.
"Wake up, Princess!" Rome hollered again. "Don't make me come in there and cuddle with you!"
Hearing him say that, I shot up and practically fell out of bed with my feet up over my head, half awake. Something told me, Rome likely meant what he said. Somehow, I shuffle like a snake out of the blanket, and I fly over to open the door open. To discover him standing there with a half-grin. I'd love to smack that grin off his face.
"Good morning, Princess." Rome chimed as his eyes veered up at my head. "Nice hair."
I rolled my eyes, touching my head to feel my hair matted in some severe bedhead. "Could you be any more annoying," I snapped, cranky at him.
Rome laughed. "Oh, I probably could, Princess."
"Quit calling me that!" I griped. "My name is Victoria!"
"I like Princess better." Rome further teased.
"Ugh!" I gritted my teeth. "You're very childish!"
Rome kept laughing as Ace said, squeezing past him in the narrow hallway. "Rome, would you let her get ready and stop harassing her."
Now Rome smirked a delightful charm at me. "I wanted to know if pancakes and eggs would sound good to eat?" he asked.
"Yes," I replied, cooling down.
"Alright, I'll whip some up."
My eyes gawked to hear him say that he'll whip up breakfast. For an immature moron, I couldn't believe he knew how to cook.
After Ivan gave me this cute black baby doll dress and matching high-heels. I got ready and set some wavy curls in my hair, and put on my makeup. Once I came out, the food was done, so I ate at the bar across from Kai and Rome. I sat between Ivan and Ace. Kai still wore his sunglasses while he read a newspaper. He was the only one I noticed who wasn't eating. But I didn't ask why since he was somehow reading a paper in his hand. After breakfast, they had me buckle up again while they didn't bother to. While the plane ascended to land, my body trembled because it was a fairly rough landing. Once the engine turned off, we loaded inside the limousine and drove out of the cargo pit, and drove off.
"Where are you taking me?" I questioned Kai, sitting next to me this time. Ivan and Ace sat across from us. Rome was the one who drove.
"To my parents' mansion," Kai answered coldly.
"No!" I retorted stubbornly. "Take me back to Orlando and his family!"
Around the sunglasses, I saw Kai's face had suddenly stiffened. His jaw flexed, and I heard his teeth grinding behind his closed mouth. Then his hand slips into his pocket.
"You just don't get it, do you?" he retorted, pulling out a ring, and I realized it was my engagement ring! I lunged to grab it, but he balled it into a firm fist.
"Give it back!" I screamed at him, trying to pry his fingers open, but it was useless. With his free hand, he pushed the switch down to his window.
"No!" Right before my eyes, he threw my ring out the window. Brokenhearted tears roll down my face, and I painfully sulk. He rolled up his window without any care and ignored my sobbing.
