"Anything special happen?" Enzo asked after a few moments of silence.
A large smile formed on Jane's face.
"Yup!" She said proudly.
"What?" Ivan asked.
"It was a Reaper Fruit. It gave me a power similar to necromancy."
"Cool, I'm happy for you." Enzo said, but before their conversation could continue…
Rumble! Rumble!
The floor started shaking violently. In just a few seconds everyone was off their feet and onto the floor due to the earthquake.
None of them noticed because of how strong the earthquake was, but the floor beneath them had started to move.
Enzo tried to regain his bearings and stand up, but each attempt resulted in him just falling back down.
After a minute or two the shaking finally started to calm down enough for the group to stand up and see what was going on.
Enzo looked around and noticed that the floor was sinking, and fast.
They were on what seemed to be an earth elevator on a trip to the underground.
It didn't take long for the scenery to change.
The platform they were standing on burst through a hole below them. The new area the platform took them to was like a whole other dimension.
There was a castle below them that stood on a hill. Around the hill was a river that covered all directions like a moat. There was a bridge in one direction, leading to the mainland. Looking up, Enzo could see an earthen sky, but their environment was still lit up by what seemed to be an invisible sun, because it looked like the sky outside.
The mainland around the castle contained a large forest that stretched as far as the eye could see.
The rock platform took the group down to the middle of the courtyard on the castle grounds.
It stopped abruptly above the earth and waited for the group to hop off before lifting up into the sky once again.
"My chat is going crazy right now!" Kenny shouted as the group surveyed their surroundings.
Enzo turned to the large metal gate on the walls of the castleyard. The walls were made of stone and over 30 feet tall. They were clean and looked like they were built just yesterday. The metal gate looked the same way. He then turned back towards the actual castle. The castle was made of the same stone as the wall, but looked 5 times taller than it. It was the most intricate and large castle Enzo had ever seen.

"3 hours, let's get moving quick." Enzo said.
He started barking out orders immediately after reading the messages.
There was no telling just what monsters the game would send their way, but it was pretty obvious that they would be facing dangerous creatures based on the message.
Enzo sent Ivan into the castle to get materials such as arrows, back up weapons and armor, and oil. He told him to find oil anyway he could, even if it had to come from lamps or torches.
Enzo knew about a few different ways to get rid of a horde of enemies from television shows and books. One of the best ways he has seen protagonists get rid of their enemies is with fire. Most zombie shows he has watched used fire at least once throughout the show.
He then sent Bella and Juliet to search the castle for things they may not need immediately, like jewelry, money, and other treasures. There was no telling if they would be able to search for things like that after all of the waves are completed, so it would be better to take advantage of the time they had now. They were currently in a large castle that just screamed "I am rich and wealthy", so it would be foolish to not look for treasure within this castle.
He tasked Kenny and Vincent with raising the gates of the castle. They questioned this order at first, believing it would be better to use the gate to defend themselves, but Enzo explained his reasoning. The gateway could be used to their advantage as a bottleneck for enemies. The gateway was much smaller than the bridge in width, so it would form the perfect bottleneck if there were too many enemies to handle.
He then tasked the rest of the group with digging out a trench at the end of the corridor through the gates. Enzo planned to pour the oil into the trench and use it as a firewall for the monsters that he assumed would try to pass through the gateway. Hopefully by the time they were met with the wall of fire it would be too late to turn back and try climbing the wall. If they did decide to split up and try climbing the wall, it would be the worst scenario for them as handling one large group of enemies would be much easier than many smaller groups.
The last group had to wait for Enzo to find shovels in the castle before they could start, but Enzo found plenty of them in the stables off to the side of the castle.
They then got to digging as fast as they could.

[10 minutes before the first wave begins. Prepare yourselves.]
They had finished the trench an hour ago, so Enzo wasn't worried about the time limit anymore. The trench was 5 feet wide and 7 feet deep. There was oil spread all over it and they even had extra oil, because Ivan found barrels and barrels of it in the castle. He also found many stacks of arrows for Enzo and Hephaestus to use.
Bella and Juliet weren't back from their search just yet, but Enzo wasn't worried. The whole team got the notification about the time limit, so they would know to come back soon as well.
10 minutes later…
