Extra Stat Points
Enzo took out the platinum box from his inventory and looked down at it.
The box had the same design as the gold loot box, but was decorated with platinum instead of gold trim.

'Dope.' Enzo thought.
His bad luck wouldn't be able to get him again this time because the box guaranteed a 7 star item.
Enzo opened up the box and a silver glow came from the box. The glow was much brighter than the one that came from the gold box, and he could see the glows of his teammates' boxes from the corner of his eye as well.

"Nice!" Enzo yelled in excitement.
"Awesome!"
"Let's goooo!"
"Finally!"
Shouts of excitement from the rest of the group rang out as well.
'That's the equivalent of 10 whole levels!'
Enzo was still holding onto the now opened platinum loot box in shock. It was like when the option for bad luck was their, the game would cause something stupid to happen everytime, but when something good was guaranteed Enzo seemed to have the best of luck.

As the empty box disappeared into pixels, Enzo stared at his stats screen in thought.
This decision was extremely important, so he needed to make sure he didn't choose the wrong stats. He also still had the extra 2 stat points from his recent level up to consider.
With these extra stat points, he would have at the least 20 stat points more than the average player at the same level, but the specific boost they gave would be his choice.
He was trying to decide if it would be better to use most of the stats in one or two categories, or if it would be smarter to split them up equally between everything.
If he were to focus on only one or two categories, he would have a tremendous advantage on every player when it came to those things.
An extra 20 points in speed or strength would make him seem like an extreme anomaly amongst his peers.
In contrast, if he were to split everything up evenly he would seem just slightly better than everyone else. The difference in noticeable stats wouldn't be as great, but not everything is about looks. Just because you can't visibly see the stamina stat doesn't mean it isn't just as important as the others.
At the moment he was leaning more towards putting a majority of the stats into speed.
If he had a large speed advantage, then most things around his level wouldn't even be able to touch him. He hadn't had any issues with strength so far, as his attacks did a decent amount of damage, so it didn't seem smart to invest solely in strength at the moment.
The only way he would invest into just the strength stat is if he decided to go with the split even strategy with the extra status points.
Another option he considered was to split the stat points between mostly vitality and strength.
Enzo recognized the fact that he was fast enough to dodge a boss monster that was 3 levels above him at the time, so didn't that mean speed wasn't necessarily an urgent matter either? If so, then it would be smarter to increase his vitality and strength. As a result his attacks would do more damage, and he would be able to take more damage himself before risking death.
Intellect wasn't much of a consideration unless he decided to go with the agility option as he would need the intellect boost to be able to see without everything going blurry when he runs.
Stamina wasn't even on the table, even if he decided to invest in everything equally stamina wasn't going to be increased today. There was simply no need at all at the moment.
"Atlas."
Bella tapped him on the shoulder, but he didn't react.
"Atlas."
She frowned.
"Atlas!" she yelled into his ear.
"Huh? My fault." Finally his train of thought was interrupted.
"Why were you frowning like that?" She asked.
The rest of the group was looking at him with concern as well.
"Oh, I got extra stat points and can't decide where I want to put them."
"Congrats, that's pretty cool!" Juliet said.
"Yeah, congrats buddy." Ivan said.
"Thanks.
Do any of you have any suggestions as to where I should put them?"
"Strength!" Vincent immediately answered.
"Thanks Ivar, now I know strength is the wrong answer." Enzo said half sarcastically.
Vincent showed him the middle finger in response, making Enzo and the rest chuckle a bit.
"Split it between agility and strength." Kenny suggested.
"I think you should do all agility." Bella said.
"Splitting them up evenly between everything would be better than both of those suggestions." Ivan responded.
"Alright calm down before this turns into an argument. You all are basically saying the same things I already said in my head." Enzo interjected.
He took a few more minutes to think about it before finally deciding.

He decided on using most of the stat points on agility, but still putting some of them in other areas. Now, he would still have that dramatic speed difference between other players, but would also have slight advantages in other areas as well.
