When Bao was born in Decem-milia realm, his name was Hai Rong, and his family name was Hai. They were a subspecies of the Dragon race, yet Hai Rong and his family lived in coastal locations. Their rank was inferior compared to other Dragons due to their being hybrids of an unknown species, but nonetheless, compared to other races like humans, monsters, and barbarians, they were far more magnificent and majestic.

At first, he was astonished to know that other extraterrestrial life also existed, exactly like in mythology. Unlike other young children who like playing or training, he spent his time at the library learning about the world's history and diverse geographies. After going to the library to read every day, at the age of 9, he finished reading every book in that sect's library.

He got to know different races, their relationships, and their history. But the library here mostly included works dealing to dragons and their surrounds, and not the races in the wider Decem-Milia realm.

The Dragons were the strongest race in the Decem-Milia realm. Dragons' sole flaw was that it was not easy for them to breed, and due to that, their dragon blood was getting less pure every generation.

Although the dragons are known to be the strongest in the Decem-Milia realm, they rarely interact with other races because they regard every lower entity as insignificant, which could be due to pride or arrogance. But there was one race that rivaled the dragons: the demon race. In terms of power, talents, and divination, dragons exceeded demons in all of them. The only reason they could challenge dragons was due of their overwhelming quantity and ability to multiply easily.

Just like the dragon race, the demon race had likewise existed from times immemorial. Nobody knew where they originated from; there was no record of it. Because of their cultivation methods, every race in the Decem-Milia realm are hostile to demon races. In the past, there had been several expeditions to remove the demon race, but they had failed to eradicate them.
