Chapter 2 Where the Value Lies_2

Gao Guang did not exaggerate, but he also did not translate every word of Sanchez. He simply said immediately, "He refuses to talk."

The Captain put away his phone and said in a very deep voice, "Rubber, make him talk!"

Someone immediately rushed to the front of the couch, grabbed the collar of Sanchez's clothes with his left hand, while his right hand pinched Sanchez's already broken nose, and then started twisting it immediately.

Sanchez wanted to shake his head and struggle, but that only made the pain worse, so he could only twist his head with the direction of Rubber's hand, screaming with a heavy nasal voice, "I'll talk, I'll talk!"

Sanchez's voice was very muffled, and, he gave in much faster than Gao Guang had expected.

Gao Guang did not mind letting Sanchez suffer more, but as a translator, he needed to maintain professionalism, so he immediately said, "He's willing to talk now."

Rubber let go of Sanchez's nose, and Sanchez gently sniffed before he said with a woeful face, "The person you're looking for isn't with me, you damn Huaxia person, tell them, I've never seen the person they're looking for!"

The Captain looked at Gao Guang, his eyes filled with expectation, "What's he saying?"

"He says the person you want to find is not there, and there's some profanity, cursing you. Do you need the translation of that?"

Gao Guang certainly had the professionalism of a translator, but he also wanted to make use of the convenience of translation to let Sanchez suffer a bit, so he generously passed Sanchez's swearing onto the Captain and his men.

Not getting the answer he wanted, the Captain didn't say much, but said very sternly, "Rubber, torture him."

Rubber didn't pinch Sanchez's nose again, but pulled out a knife and stabbed it into Sanchez's thigh, then began gently twisting it.

Sanchez screamed hoarsely, then yelled, "For the love of God, it wasn't me, the person you're looking for isn't here, it has nothing to do with me, nothing..."

Gao Guang translated Sanchez's words, and then the Captain immediately roared, "You took the ransom and didn't release the hostage, even killed the hostage, only you have done such a thing."

Rubber pulled the knife from Sanchez's leg and pointed the bloody tip at Sanchez's eyes.

Sanchez howled, "I work for the Zeta Group, you can't do this to me, do you want to die?"

Upon hearing Sanchez's words, Gao Guang immediately said to the Captain, "He says he works for the Zeta Group, and that if you continue, you will die."

The Captain was unmoved, his voice still calm, "You can choose to remain silent, until you are cut into pieces, bit by bit."

Rubber did not act hastily but waited until Gao Guang had translated the Captain's words before he pushed the knife forward, then slowly drew it down.

Sanchez's face was slashed open, and he screamed again, yelling, "I'll tell! I'll tell! The hostages are all in the dungeon. The entrance to the dungeon is under the carpet."

Gao Guang immediately translated Sanchez's words, and then the Captain breathed a sigh of relief, and called out loudly to someone outside, "Joey, come inside, the hostages are in here."

The lounge was not large, so the Captain's men had not carefully searched the lounge but had been searching outside for where the hostages were being held, so they had not discovered that the dungeon was in this room.

The lounge had only a small piece of carpet, which was visible at a glance, but such an obvious spot had been overlooked until Sanchez mentioned it, and immediately, a skinny person ran over and lifted the carpet.

Once the entrance to the dungeon was discovered, the rest was easy. Gao Guang helped translate some detailed questions, like whether there were any traps down there, any bombs, etc. Ensuring that there were only hostages in the dungeon, Joey quickly went down and soon came up supporting someone.

A very haggard-looking young man kept asking the people around him, "Did you come to rescue me? Are you here to rescue me?"

Gao Guang swallowed hard and said, "He's asking if you came to rescue him."

"Yes, we've come to rescue him. Tell him to stay quiet."

Gao Guang envied the man in front of him, so he said with emotion, "They're here to save you, you've been saved."

The young man immediately burst into ecstasy, then he started to make the sign of the cross nonstop on his chest and began to thank God.

Gao Guang felt that the young man lacked a sense of the situation; at this time, shouldn't he be thanking the people who actually saved him?
