He woke up, sat up in bed, and with his legs crossed on the mattress, Gao Guang first checked his phone to see if he had missed any calls, then if anyone had sent him any messages.
It was impossible not to hear the phone ring, so naturally, there were no calls. Gao Guang breathed a sigh of relief, set the phone aside, and promptly went to wash up.
He had quite a bit to do today, with Jane discussing arms deals, and Sara possibly dropping by with some sort of gift—maybe even a house. For a super-wealthy patron like her, one couldn't measure her generosity with the same yardstick as ordinary people.
Wait a second, just as Gao Guang put his toothbrush in his mouth, a thought suddenly occurred to him.
If Jane came today, and Sara also showed up, even worse if they happened to meet, what then?
Gao Guang froze in place for a moment, feeling that he had been far too relaxed the night before for not considering this possibility.
"Without foresight, there will be immediate worries."
